Really awesome watching you work Man! Kind of therapeutic watching you finish off a work that's obviously taken you many hours to create!
Thanks for broadcasting the process, will keep watching!
You inspiring me to go be the graffit artist I can really be. I think I’ll try this huge canvas stencil project too and see what happens. It’ll be my first time doing stencil and I feel like I can do something so cool like this too
I loved it but i missed one layer in the Blue
Man this is so incredible, so nice i swear, i love the color and the compositions, thanks for show the making of.
Y made really beutifull piece brother.
I don't mean to be dramatic, but this video basically saved my life 2 years ago. I was depressed and started to have dangerous thoughts about hurting myself. This video single handedly inspired me to start painting again and those thoughts slowly went away. I doubt you'll see this comment but, thank you slew. Your art had a very important and positive impact on my life.
Oh man, I'd pay good money for stickers of your work.
@catsapp russia stickers...he sounds cheap. probably $3 lol
This is not a style of art that I would typically be drawn to, but watching the technique intrigued me and now I have a whole new appreciation for it. The end result is incredible! You’re very talented. 😊
Your Channel do not get the attention it deserves! Your videos has loads of quality and you art and talent is outstanding! Keep up the good work, so we (i) can continue to enjoy your great videos and work!
Man how I’d love to have this on my wall. It pops and what the different colors seem to do with the perception of the proportions is very fascinating to me. Love it man!
This is an awesome piece of artwork and i really loved the color scheme you chose. I just liked everything you did a great job.
I has a handful of unfinished canvases over the past few years. Hand stretched also. There is a Stüssy shirt someone asked to do one time. It is a ven diagragm of a woman's face, but stenciled. I've had the undercoat for a few years and the plus sign gridded to separate the canvas into quarters. I want to finally finish it. Was thinking of drawing it first with pastel white pencil, then acrylic everything in because by hand is more careful and detail for me.
Watching you do this piece reminds me of the Dennis Brown stencil I made 10 years ago. All the arduous work was in the sketching by pencil and cutting with exacto knife. Still have the stencil today.
Nice work brodie. Love it...even though years later I am watching this from recommended playlist.
It looked already great with just two layers 🔥
This dude is so chilled out
absolutely love the idea of layering layered stencils
For me it's the shadow falling from the (viewers) left of each face on to the face behind that really makes it. Causes me to look twice and say, "What... is that flat art or 3-D?" Thank you Slew!
SLEWtorials... Just throwing it out there, because you are my SLEWspiration.
mural in the back is insane.. 3 dimensional, the lighting tones are all fire and ur studio is PACKED with art good job man keep it up!
I know this video is super old, but I actually really liked how it looked before you added all the black outlines. It felt much more artistic without rather than feeling almost medical after you added those outlines.
That’s actually really cool, really enjoyed it! And the music added value, I got some Massive Attack vibes!
not. music is boring and ripetitive. i had to mute it.
madddly respect this art piece so much, also noticed you missed a step with the blue face hehe but all in all, beautiful work my guy
Andi Osmani he didnt, you can just barely tell if you pause at 8:55
@@jakewaitart9507, it was a poor choice of color on his part.
Blue and turquoise shades don’t show on video as well as with the naked eye. I think the detail is there.
GinjaNinja likely the camera colorscience
Thank you SLEW, my gf was going to start painting, I showed her this video a seconds before she started. IT'S SPREADING EMOTION onto everybody watching this, breathtaking man!! Big Up!
Just found this channel and I am so glad that I did
Why is this video so fucking therapeutic to watch... when i make it after my medical degree and hopefully make some money, going to definitely contact you to make an amazing piece of art... keep up the good work
I could watch this for days.
This is what it looks like to be doing what you love and are naturally talented to do. Thanks for sharing.
This is what I call art, nice job man. I would buy this thing and could look at it every day
Best video you have ever made.
First video Ive seen of yours but I’m already in love with your work. It’s quite a bit like mine.
Hey I’m an art educator and a printmaking artist, and wanted to throw an idea out there... You could save yourself a ton of time by making screen print stencils! If you already have the image on your tablet pop it into photoshop separate the layers print them on tabloid sized myriad sheets using a laser printer (not Mylar it will mess up your printer) then just expose them on a screen coated with photo emulsion. Instant stencils no cutting required. If you don’t have photoshop, just trace each color layer on tracing paper and expose that. You could’ve even did a separation for the black outline. Screen prints are a really versatile medium to explore. They don’t have to remain graphic like a t-shirt, you could really investigate the limits of printing. I recommend a screen with at least a 430 mesh
So talented, you be proud of yourself
Nice work! FYI, a dusting of adhesive spray really helps with the overspray.
wow.. i love seeing so much teqnique and attention to detail in modern art!
You would make a very good teacher.
My favorite version is without the outline but with the shadow. Looked more like real people that way for some reason. I am just in love with this piece.
Really cool project, love the idea of the layered stencils to create repeated images
Also @ y’all that keep saying he missed a step in the blue, pause at 8:55 he didn’t, it’s just harder to see, probably more obvious in person
After slogging through the youtoobes cesspool it was refreshing to stumble onto this. Fantastic work!
Seeing you work through the process then revealing the end product gave me such a wave of happiness oh my word! XD Seriously dope work man!
I loved the shading you added beside each head, it gave so much dimension and brought the whole piece alive
thanks, i was hesitant on the cast shadow but glad I did! It was an in the moment audible that turned out cool!
There are some really talented people in this world, and you sir, are one of them👏🏽👏🏽
Damn man. First video of yours I’ve seen and I’m already in love with your style.
Is that piece available in sticker form?
Reid Flemming i dont think so i wish it was

The movie, the paint... Beautiful
UA-cam wouldn’t stop suggesting this vid and I’m glad they never gave up. Fuego mate
I wish I could give you multiple thumbsups for this work 🙂
So inspirational. Thanks for sharing with us.
Watched two seconds and already love this 😁🤗
I'm addicted to your vids
Killed this
Sweet studio nice job the back ground really made it pop!
Absolutely beautiful
Really like your work. Also really liked how you pointed out your mistakes. A lot of people wouldn't do that.
saw this in person it’s so dope!!!!!
Great work!!! I don't think I would call it stenciling as you do use a lot of hand painting for details and such, stenciling you don't do anything but stencil and paint, your work is so much more than a simple stenciling.this is closer to mixed media, a bit of stenciling, a bit of hand drawing, a bit of hand painting for over all one heck of a beautiful piece of art work!!!!
Well you just Inspired me to paint something tomorrow
Soooo sickkk!!! I would love to have that painting!!!!!!!!!!!
Wow this is insane. Amazing. Super inspired.
Pure talent
A M A Z I N G WORK, I SEE THE DEDICATION AND THE PASSION WITH WHAT YOU DO

Definitely a SLEW of creative imageries.
I probably didn’t enjoy the video as much as you enjoyed painting it lol but I was still very entertained😂
It looks amazing!! You’re very skilled and creative x

Very cool the colors pop!
You deserve millions of subscribers..
man I wish I had a studio even half that size.. I gotta cram my stuff, my art supplies, my electronics supplies and my finished projects all into a room the size of your kitchen
brilliant , great video, painting is the business turned out really well
I absolutely loved this
I like you're style and you've already shown more originality with certain things than everyone else, bc typically everyone copies everything on UA-cam even sound effects for editing which is super lame. So you got my sub +1
That is so awesome! Now I want to try to do some stencil projects!!
duuude you have amazing work. I am really inspired and want to start doing spray painting!! Thank you!
I adore your art style please continue sharing your work with the world.
Watching this was sooo relaxing. You are very talented!

Looks gorgeous!!
Never stop making videos i beg u
Glad to find this in my Recommended. The painting turned out to be clean af.
That was amazing. Please just don't let your skin absorbe all those chemicals. Seriously, fantastic work.
Wow super impressive....you are a very good artist
Stretching and priming your own canvas is so important! Especially for the amount of painting you do, it's much cheaper.
Much more convenient to just buy your canvases this guy has tools for everything...even those stencils what the fuck did he print those on
very fun to watch and be inspire
that grey background really MADE the piece great job!
Motivador tu trabajo. Felicitaciones sigue con el arte artista...
Im a beginner...i respect your art
Awesome idea and execution!
Very talented young man!!!
incredible work! you're amazing!
beautiful view from the studio! dope location
I've always wanted to create something in a style like this! I usually make designs in photoshop, but then I find it so tedious to do acrylic paint on canvas... I never thought about making stencils to get clean lines and solid color with spray paint! My mind is blown. This is exactly what I kind of had in mind, but couldn't come up with... This piece is so perfect! I need to try this.
Slew, what incredible talent! Just letting you know that the links to your other projects were broken for me. Thanks again for sharing!
Thanks so much for this video slew. Stencil making is my next project for my spray painting adventures, this helped encourage and inform me, ty vm keep creating bro.
You are kickass man! Great content, great sharing, ideal work environment, and insight to your process. Well done 🤙🏻🧡
If you're using an image that contains shadows and you want to overlap that same image multiple times, like you have done with the heads, then you should do it in the other direction so the light source of the image correlates. Also, try masking off areas on the canvas that you don't want spray paint on to protect it.
This is incredible! I’m floored
Stumbled on this channel and this is crazy good. I want this piece
That is really WOW! You are putting everything to your passion
