This hits even harder now that he’s gone. I was really looking forward to his new album 😞 Aaron you were so talented. I hope your smiling and hugging your dad in heaven
I was an Aaron Carter fan since I was 11. I lost my dad in 2008. Now at 35 this song hits so hard you have no idea. 🙏💔💔🙏 RIP Dad, Aaron and his dad and his sister Leslie.
This album was so good. I wish he'd gotten the recognition for it that he deserved. He was an amazing talent..even more so than his brother Nick. No hate, I love Nick and BSB, but Nick had the other 4 guys with him and that's why he was more successful. Aaron was alone in life on everything. He didn't stand a chance. He was never taken seriously and he was ridiculed constantly. I wish ppl would have just shut up and enjoyed his music. He was truly gifted. The entire thing is so incredibly sad😥 I pray he's at peace❤🙏🕊
Can not stop myself from crying. Such a beautiful soul he had. Despite bad things his parents did to him, he still forgot and loved them ❤️ Sleep well my sweet Aaron ❤️
This lyrics breaks me even more now that he is gone. Rest in peace Aaron, hope you reunite with Leslie & your dad🙏 Champion Hey Aaron, it's Daddy Give me a call when you get a chance here buddy I ain't nobody to talk to now, what the hell is going on Call me buddy, bye Bringing back the memories You know you were the first to hold my hand All the times you feel in front of me You gave me all the strength to be a man All I wanna be is half of you Give me that side from him You told me that freedom's in our truth Tell me where I begin Where are you going, can't understand Don't want you to be alone, send you off but can't let you go Where are you floating, where does this end I just wanna meet you there Papa, I'mma meet you there You were my champion You were my champion Always run the race, always had to chase Leave 'em in the dust when they wave that flag You were my champion I love you, Dad I love you, Dad I love you, Dad Running into memories, Remembering the day you saved my life Pulled me out of tragedy Drawn to the dark but you see the light All I wanna do is stop this hurt Give me one sign tonight All I wanna put time in reverse Back when it was you and I Where are you going, can't understand Don't want you to be alone, send you off but can't let you go Where are you floating, where does this end I just wanna meet you there Papa, I'mma meet you there You were my champion You were my champion Always run the race, always had to chase Leave 'em in the dust when they wave that flag You were my champion I love you, Dad I love you, Dad I love you, Dad You were my champion You were my champion Always run the race, always had to chase Leave 'em in the dust when they wave that flag You were my champion You were my champion You were my champion Always run the race, always had to chase Leave 'em in the dust when they wave that flag You were my champion I love you, Dad I love you, Dad I love you, Dad
The fact he wrote dedicated to his dad who had died, after all the shit and crap that he put his son Aaron through. As him and his wife Jane made work as a superstar then use and spent most of his money on things that, he and his wife didn’t really need and left his son bankrupt and left him with mostly nothing. It wasn’t just his label and management that took advantage of him, his parents also took him advantage of him just like how they took advantage of Nick. When he became famous in the boy band Backstreet Boys. It’s sad that that Aaron when through and spun out of control and was never the same pop star or person, he wants once was went drugs and alcohol play a roll in his his mental health and went out of control in reality.
His parents differently ruined and missed his and the other kids life up, they weren’t good parents and pretty much screwed up their whole childhood. Taking and stealing their sons wealth they made and they definitely spend a lot of stuff on junk that, they didn’t really needed to be spent on and pretty much left Aaron bankrupt. That he had hardly any money left in his account, basically nothing left for him to start a new life for himself. While they ignore and neglect their daughters, tell me why Leslie was the first to die from drugs. As so far a lot of problems and try to fix it, but fortunately she suffered a lot of things and sadly passed away at 25. Then BJ the second oldest died the same way as Leslie at the age of 41, leaving only Nick and angel only brother and sister who are still alive. That Nick and Angel can still live on with their family and try to live a good life. Leaves the awful tragedy that put upon them. 5 of them to deserved a better life and childhood, none of them got that because of the parents selfish need. Either of them were better than the other, while the mother was generally disgusting awful person. Forcing him to become a singer and spending his money, the father wasn’t any better than his wife and he did nothing to protect his kids. As he only care about himself, as he was told him he was nothing but his money maker. Which was kind of discussing and shocking that, he would say that only reason he was ever around his son. So he could spend his hard work money, Aaron works so hard to make only for him and his wife to spend it all. Left him with nothing, but a small change of money wasn’t enough to buy him his own house. Overall, I think he’s parents was mostly is the reason why. He went to shit. Said that he is now gone, but I think he’s in a better place now. No one could hurt or take a vantage of him again. RIP to Aaron and his siblings, who better in life. No thanks to his parents.

I have to say, I don’t know much about Arron Carter and only just found this album, which I really like, especially this song it touches me emotionally on so many levels, just goes to show fame and fortune does not mean that you are exempt from having bad luck in life to which they have been through so much tragedy and loss.😢❤

This is a beautiful song the lyrics hit hard. For me my dad was my hero and i was always by his side, as a girl doing the men stuff aswell he taught me so so much. Where he went I went and it paid of for me. He supported me through break ups, death, loss, love, drug addiction all of it. He be gone 7yrs this may 7th and my sister on my 23rd may will be gone 8yrs. She was the 1st person in Ireland to have a mechanical heart called an l-vad, aka left ventricular assisted device. It cost €90,000 at the time. Blessings 🙏🏼 to all that have lost many loved ones.
This song really does hurt now, now Aaron reunited with his dad too soon and Leslie and Bobbi Jean are in heaven having a Jolly time together with them. How is this real?
Was looking for this yesterday. Lol it wasn't reased yet. Woke up this morning and it's HEERE! and it's the first thing I listen to. This song is so sweet. Aaron is a killer producer. Great Job, dude.

Hey Aaron, it's Daddy
Give me a call when you get a chance here buddy
I ain't nobody to talk to now, what the hell is going on
Call me buddy, bye
Bringing back the memories
You know you were the first to hold my hand
All the times you feel in front of me
You gave me all the strength to be a man
All I wanna be is half of you
Give me that side from him
You told me that freedom's in our truth
Tell me where I begin
Where are you going, can't understand
Don't want you to be alone, send you off but can't let you go
Where are you floating, where does this end
I just wanna meet you there
Papa, I'mma meet you there
You were my champion
You were my champion
Always run the race, always had to chase
Leave 'em in the dust when they wave that flag
You were my champion
I love you, Dad
I love you, Dad
I love you, Dad
Running into memories,
Remembering the day you saved my life
Pulled me out of tragedy
Drawn to the dark but you see the light
All I wanna do is stop this hurt
Give me one sign tonight
All I wanna put time in reverse
Back when it was you and I
Where are you going, can't understand
Don't want you to be alone, send you off but can't let you go
Where are you floating, where does this end
I just wanna meet you there
Papa, I'mma meet you there
You were my champion
You were my champion
Always run the race, always had to chase
Leave 'em in the dust when they wave that flag
You were my champion
I love you, Dad
I love you, Dad
I love you, Dad

Two of my favourites of his would be "Dance With Me" and "She's Just Like a Storm" . Glad he found his new groove.
This music is so beyond dope! I'd love to see you on tour. I can relate so much. You're killing it! Don't ever stop.
So proud of your improvement!!!! I struggle with chronic illness every day so I understand how hard it is. But it’s so inspiring to see you making progress, it gives me hope. Sending my love always!!!!

😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 Proud of you, Aaron. Love this song too much. Very touching.
What do say now beliebers! Aaron is back!
I have to say, I don’t know much about Arron Carter and only just found this album, which I really like, especially this song it touches me emotionally on so many levels, just goes to show fame and fortune does not mean that you are exempt from having bad luck in life to which they have been through so much tragedy and loss.😢❤
I Love this song so much... Top 3 off the Love Album. AC Forever!
Lyrics
Aaron's Dad:
Hey Aaron, it's Daddy
Give me a call when you get a chance here buddy
I ain't nobody to talk to now, what the hell is going on
Call me buddy, bye
[Verse 1]
Bringing back the memories, you know you were the first to hold my hand
[?] gave me all the strength to be a man
All I wanna be is half of you, give me that side from him
You told me that freedom's in our truth, tell me where I begin
[Pre-Chorus]
Where are you going, can't understand
Don't want you to be alone, send you off but can't let you go
Where are you floating, where does this end
I just wanna meet you there
Papa, I'mma meet you there
[Chorus]
You were my champion
You were my champion
Always run the race, always had to chase
Leave 'em in the dust when they wave that flag
You were my champion
[Instrumental]
I love you, Dad
I love you, Dad
I love you, Dad
I love you, Dad
[Verse 2]
Running into memories, remembering the day you saved my life
Pulled me out of tragedy, drawn to the dark but you see the light
All I wanna do is stop this hurt, give me one sign tonight
All I wanna put time in reverse, back when it was you and I
[Pre-Chorus]
Where are you going, can't understand
Don't want you to be alone, send you off but can't let you go
Where are you floating, where does this end
I just wanna meet you there
Papa, I'mma meet you there
[Chorus]
You were my champion
You were my champion
Always run the race, always had to chase
Leave 'em in the dust when they wave that flag
You were my champion
[Instrumental]
I love you, Dad
I love you, Dad (champion)
I love you, Dad
I love you, Dad
I love you, Dad
[Chorus]
You were my champion
You were my champion
Always run the race, always had to chase
Leave 'em in the dust when they wave that flag
You were my champion
You were my champion
You were my champion
Always run the race, always had to chase
Leave 'em in the dust when they wave that flag
You were my champion
[Instrumental]
I love you, Dad
I love you, Dad (champion)
I love you, Dad
I love you, Dad
I love you, Dad
it's DROWNING in your memories.
NOT bringing back the memories. 🤦🏽♀️ @maxi3495
His dad was toxic just like his mom. Nick became his dad by default, but he was a kid himself.
Amazingly Beautiful song for his dad... i love it💙💙💙💙💜💜💜❤️❤️❤️❤️
This song really does hurt now, now Aaron reunited with his dad too soon and Leslie and Bobbi Jean are in heaven having a Jolly time together with them. How is this real?
Was looking for this yesterday. Lol it wasn't reased yet. Woke up this morning and it's HEERE! and it's the first thing I listen to. This song is so sweet. Aaron is a killer producer. Great Job, dude.
