Don't know if you've just forgotten but you can middle click conveyor ports to pull items from your build planner instead of opening the menu every time.

For salvaging, I've been doing some experimentation with gravity-scoops. If you have two spherical gravity generators on either side of a collector, then they will pull items straight in. If you wanted, you could set up a scoop on your base and hand-grind down the salvage ships without the issue of limited inventory space. This might actually be quicker than a grinder ship because you wouldn't need to worry about collisions and full inventories.
Those Drills are insane loud. I actually set up a sensor to turn them off if player was in the area. I had a nice office area in that base and used to sit in there to brain storm... Not after these drills came into play hahaha. great series so far. Much love!!!
Not sure if you just weren't realizing, but when you were pulling the power cells around 30 minutes and getting frustrated that it was only pulling a few at a time, you were hitting your carrying capacity. That's why it wasn't auto pulling more.

32:42 LOL.. I also ALWAYS go into the game files and modify that sucker so that the volume doesn't wake the dead.. I REALLY wish the mod author would add a volume control option to the settings of the drill like the one that's available on BOB.
Quick tutorial on how you turn off/mostly off?
What we need is a sound proofing material block for places like offices in production facilities that are loud like that

Entering and exiting a cockpit/control seat often fixes the gas on/off bug. It can be any cockpit on any grid.
You could do with a tug. Maybe with pods for hauling large cargo for projects like this or salvage, as well as a hydrogen tanker pod for when you inevitably run out of fuel somewhere.
You will need at least 10 Solar panels per drill! So much expansion of the solar panel array

Hi, I do like the resource node mod. But only use the basic, as the others are to loud. Needs a volume control on the other two.

If the O2H2 is still giving problems later, maybe it's positioning? Put them before the Tanks and see what happens?
You might have to turn the tanks on stockpile to refill them
About the deafening drills, would you consider to use the 'realistic' sound mode of the game? I'm glad its functional again since the automatons update

What version of static drills are you using? I couldn't get them to work in space
Hummm.... I need to look and see if there is a "fuel cell" mod that will run off the O2 and H. Would make a LOT more sense than ICE powered generators. I have thought from since they added them that the engines made no sense in the H O2 centric future setting of SE.

Not if you directly put blocks in construction. It will always try to finish the components required for the block, then proceed with the components for the next one and so on.
Find that giant asteroid base, pull and dock resource rich asteroids to it.
In real life, the cost to turn h2o2 into hydrogen is cost prohibitive. Perhaps you are looking for the same concept…. Make converting h2o2 into hydrogen much more costly energy wise.

i much prefer to use hydrogen power than reactors. there is something more "realistic" running engines to power things.

Why not temporarily swap the ship's drill for a welder?
The ship isn't piped with large conveyors.
Maybe put a welder on top directly opposite the connector, temporarily as it'll affect weight symmetry

Ice asteroids aren't a mod. They are in the game, it's just that they're very rare. I've only come across one of them in my 1800 hours of playing this game.

I think h2o2 is not working cause its placed in wrong order. Your industrial tanks should be last destinacion, not in the middle.
