I finished Tiragarde yesterday and I love Freehold! The zone, the quests, the history of the pirates and especially the music =) I then did the dungeon and it was a long time since I had not seen a dungeon as fun! When my teammates and I defeated Harlan Sweete, I stayed for a moment after everyone left, enjoying the view of Freehold while listening to this awesome music. I think I'll turn into a pirate and cross swords with all the adventurers I'll meet... Yarr ! Blizzard, you really did a great job here (^_
i was wondering why i love this specific track so much.. then i started counting it and found out it was in 6/8 idk what it is about 6/8 but its probably my favorite time signature, a lot of my favorites are in 6/8 or 3/4 (mostly 6/8 but 3/4 is pretty similar)
I expected a quest where we are about to be executed and some of our kultiran allies come yelling " yo ho ho" and some kick add pirate dialogues... Saves us...
I fell in love to those themes from the just first seconds. Now I feel that I want to play BFA more just for music lol (and this is with 100+ days of /played :DD). At the moment I have a break from WoW, but after comeback I probably will go farm all the mounts from BFA dungeons with every alt. It will be a mix of business with pleasure hehe
The content in this expansion was amazing. Freehold is great. I mean, no need to break your teacup over it, for all the haters out there lol. The orc boss here will always be one of my favorites. His catchphrases are legendary lol. I know he is from hearthstone, but still. The dungeons and zones to quest through were great. I had a blast. I had wanted a south seas expansion for a long time, to be honest.
@@squillamsquallace2468 for me it hasn't even aged, i mean like at all. I love BFA, but the vaaaast majority hated it with a passion, almost to WOD levels But I guess I like it bc i played on pirate server x100 rates
@@ballsofsalsa01 I guess from my perspective, the content we got in bfa was amazing. But it was the way the systems worked, brought on from legion and wod, that were bad personally. Azerite gear. Azerite power. Will be warforged, will not be warforged. Artifact gear and artifact power. Corruptions. Randomly might have a chance to proc to epic quality. I mean, i miss gear just being gear. I also felt like some of the class designs were meh in legion and BFA and Wod. They definitely started to overprune the classes designs and abilities. I remember my enhancement shaman not even being able to put enhancements on his weapons. Like that was a thing for so long, and i just did not feel like a shaman anymore. Although they work better in shadowlands currently. I can buff my weapons with fire, and the wind one. And i can drop a wind totem down for extra attacks. They removed stances, and for a time, paladin seals and all buffing abilities as well. I still remember them deciding not to do tier sets for a raid tier in BFA which still to this day makes no sense to me. Like, that is why people raid. To get gear. Especially tier gear. Man they ruined aspects for hunters to. Like they used to be actual aspects. Now aspect of the cheetah is basically a rogues sprint, but for hunters. Other classes were just completely fixed. They took out single minded fury for fry warriors for a while, for example. It just seems like alot of options and playstyles, and in the case of the cataclysm expansion, a ton of awesome content was deleted. Biggest gripe about the game, even to this day. Only reason i loaded up classic wow was to actually experience all the content that has sense been deleted, and all of the unchanged classes to. Shadowlands gets alot of hate to. There are good things about it though. But chromie time should have added the old 1-60 overworld back. Either way, i think blizz just needs to learn what they can add and alter and what they should leave alone. Because the questing and all that were cool in BFA. The dungeons are easily some of the best in the whole game. The zones and music was really good to. Love Voldun and Zuldazar. I remember there being way to many daily activities as well going forward as well. Made my head spin. Either way, i had a blast in BFA. But those were the things that brought it down and legion to. Felt so wierd in Legion not upgrading my weapons. I also hope they explore class accesories in the future to. Hunters have been missing their quiver graphics for so long now, and they need them back. Wod had so much potential. Everything promised at 2013 blizzcon, was either not in the game at all. Or it was in the game, but not at all as it was advertised. Going out in the overworld and mounting a world boss on a pike in my garrison. Naming my followers. Being able to place my garrison anywhere. Like there were so many things missing from that expansion lol. But again, the content that was added, was good. And some consider the raids in wod to be among some of the best raids in wow. So it wasn't all bad. Some people are all or nothing types of people. People like me are just scratching our heads wondering what went wrong and why all the content was scrapped.
