HI Bill guess this is the last video from FLA, hope you have a safe and nice drive back home. Thanks for all the great video's from down there. Also, I am a professional detailer, I was manager of the detail shop for a New car dealship for 7 years, they were in trouble and had to lay off permanently 17 people, all that got laid off were over 20yrs service or over 65yrs old, yep me at 70 got it. So I am doing detailing at home for some extra money. Anyway I will just give you a few things I do and use for detailing since you mentioned ceramic coating. First key is to clay the outside during a wash or after, please do not use a Clay Bar, thats old school, they now have what they call Clay bar pads, they are round, and U can use them while washing the vehicle or use them with any kind of quick detail spray, Maquires/Mothers, use fiber towels, you spray on the paint and the clay pad and go back and forth or up and down do not circle motion then use the fiber towel to buff it out, this clay pad does not harm paint new or old, but must use the detail spray. You will notice a big difference when you feel where you did, compared to where you didnt do yet. then finish off with a ceramic coating spray. Top of the line is "NEXT GEN" ceramic coating and also Hydrosylex ceramic coating are the best not cheap. You just spray on the car buff out with fiber towels and really great shine and it lasts for 6 to 9 months. You can use Maquires/mothers quick detail spray to keep it glowing shining if needed. There are lots out there, but I found these to be the best on the market and simple to do, no buffing at all. Hope this might help you with doing a ceramic coating on your cars! Especially Black! Thank you for the info. Last year I bought a clay bar mitt, and it works great. I was planning on using the little bottle of graphene ceramic that supposed to last 10 years. Have you ever used it?
Hi Bill yes I heard of the graphene I have used it and it is a good product but I like the next gen and hydrosilex a lot better the next gen gives a deeper shine the death in the pain is much deeper with the next gen then it is with the graphine, but it is a good product take care and have a very safe trip home if you ever get a chance those clay pads are a lot easier.
