    I like to focus on one thing everyday. For example, I like to eat carnivore for health reasons, and i tell myself my absolute for today is just to eat carnivore. Not working out, not over eating or snacking. Just focus on animal products just for today. It really is taking it one day at a time.

      For sure. I love this because you can think it has to be some big or planned out day but just slow it down and focus on what you can.

    Kari my dear friend thank you so much for this video.. seriously. I myself 35, living with bulimia and general anxiety disorder since my teens.. Mental health (esp EDs) are such a taboo thing... So much judgement and labelling u know??? Been working on myself alot (with outside professional help) since 2014... I have done alot of progress if i may say but theres a way to go... its life long work. Soo again thank you for this openness and honesty my friend. Have a good end of the day there. -rachel Montreal Canada - xxxxxxx

      Hiii Rachel!! I love how you you have always been so open too with me about your mental health, so thank you for that. There is so much labeling and harmful stigmas behind helping yourself and I am just trying to help people feel less alone and talk about it together. I love that you said its life long work because that is so true. Thanks for watching and supporting me I hope you have a great end of your day too!

    • @KariAlissaVideos
      @KariAlissaVideos  2 роки тому +2

      Thank you Sara! thanks for watching. I have had the side effects coming off where I fall into little spurts of sadness and bad self talk. How I have been handling it is recognizing what is going on and doing something I like instead. Occupying my mind and telling myself these things are not true. It's not easy but it has been working so far as long as I am just noticing it and talking myself out of it. I hope this helps.

      One more question when you stopped cold turkey did you have any anxiety or twitching or anything other that a bit of down mood ? I’m going to be calling my dr and want to know if I can stop cold turkey but I’m taking this for anxiety also

    • @KariAlissaVideos
      @KariAlissaVideos  2 роки тому +1

      @@sarakew9342 to be honest the anxiety wasn’t too big of an issue for me. I have felt anxious at time but personally have been able to work through them. Would definitely check with your Dr if that is something that could happen since you were experiencing that before that medicine.

    I’m getting off this medication. The past year that I’ve been taking it, I feel like I get veryyy angry at times. I read that irritability and anger could be a side effect. Did you ever experience something like that? PS. I love your personality and you’re so likable 🥰💕💜

    • @KariAlissaVideos
      @KariAlissaVideos  2 роки тому +1

      Awe thank you so much what a sweet comment! This actually wasn't something I noticed maybe because it was paired with my birth control that some normal side effects didn't affect me? I am not too sure. I have noticed now that I have been off for even longer that I do feel like I have more empathetic feelings than before which is nice. Congratulations and how exciting for you to be getting off this medication too!

    Was Wellbutrin worth it? Im scared I can't get off because it is working so well for me right now

    • @KariAlissaVideos
      @KariAlissaVideos  2 роки тому +1

      I think it was worth it. Right now, if you are taking it and it is working, I don't see the need of getting off. Go off what makes you feel comfortable and just take it one day at a time. My decision was personal and not based off a timeline I just felt it was right. So, if it doesn't feel right for you to get off yet then do it. It's there to help you and you are doing great already by taking something to help you out!
