why is your thumbnail so over cooked ?. a lil clickbait ? folks the first 2 weeks of jan. is going to cold from the upper midwest as far south as dixie ally . some decent snow for the mid atlantic but not a lot .this goes into mid jan. lots of cold not much snow.
Yeah, I'm in southern mo and its interesting to be sure. I was trying to figure out what to prepare for. I guess we're just going to prepare for ice/sleet but hope for snow. January is always the worst winter month anyway
It’s not expected. Yes there will definitely be snow but for the big snow storm to come to East is not likely. Is it a possibility yes but everything is probabilities.
@@BlairBlock11 I *Definitely* won't say it's zero the pattern clearly supports it, if we can get some northern stream energy interaction with southern stream energy, we can most definitely pull a winter storm, too far out to be exact, and not a forecast, But make sure to tune in to UA-cam weather channels, I recommend Mitch West Weather, One Nation Weather, and Max Velocity.
I can see your argument, however, looking at the Synoptic setup, in my humble opinion, the snow part is going to be too far north due to height levels and general thickness being too high. Again, this is from what I saw today, and things can change, but as of now, it’s very unlikely DFW gets any snow from this.
Welcome back Pat, you were missed! Now is this going to be a regular snowstorm or could it be a blizzard? I live in Mexico, Missouri. I love the + after the 12inches on your map! 😃
Not exactly blizzard territory because it won’t be windy enough, but it will cause major issues across the region and we need to pay attention. I’m thinking a foot is possible rn in Mexico, MO
So I seen 12+ inches of snow where I live on your channel page figured I would give it a look. Well this is click bait at its best and to tell the truth is a good way to loss the viewer you have.just be honest
Thanks a bunch💐 for covering this event so well. Folks need to be warned. Blessings 🕊️
Anytime, stay safe

Not much snow for the lower lakes this storm Monday isn't gonna happen sorry this is misleading tho
Southern mo is looking very interesting, one model shows rain/freezing rain and the other shows lots of snow

Is there still a chance for frigid temps down in Houston?
Houston could go below freezing in the overnight hours if the models hold, but the worst will be east of Houston. Likely Louisiana eastward
Thanks, Pat
Eastern NC has an interesting pattern to watch imo
Agreed. I will keep an eye out
Could South Jersey get some snow soon?
South Jersey is uncertain. It depends on the track of the system, stay tuned

Could Northwest Ohio get over a foot of Snow?
It’s very possible, Ian, especially with the general synoptic setup. I’d still look out and look in Storms United’s discord server for more data.
Is Houston getting anything cold? Our energy people are checking to see if the power grid will hold up
How about tennessee?
This is so exciting ❄️❄️❄️
Major snow for St Louis?
Either that or an ice storm as of now
What’s the change for snow in the DFW metroplex?
Likely zero, but watch out for a glaze of ice
@ all right

@@StrikeWeather250 Ok thanks. The European models show way more signs then the GFS dose. I just hope the not all the snow is gonna be near San Antonio
How much snow do you think Columbus Ohio will get?
The storm system isn't even on shore yet in the NW COAST ..this will not be as bad as what everybody is saying
