Mike Thank you for the great CPI videos. I just got one that has no 13.8 rail voltage, with burned 1/4 resistors like the ones in this video, I think they are 470 ohm. Anyway, you have helped a lot and I really appreciate it!
I have a cpi 2000 I like to send in for recapping in tuning. Whatever mod remove and restored to original condition. I was unable to find a email address to sent and see what is involved to send a radio in
Willian. Direction Both pronunciations are correct. The difference is where you live as to which is considered correct. In the US it is most commonly pronounced soder, with the L silent. At least that's what Websters has to say about it. :-)

Lots to do to this one. You will be having some fun. I like the layout of these radios.
Mike, do you still fix the CPI CP-2000's. I have one that works but the frequency drifts. Are willing to restore the unit?
my dad had one of these radios in the 80s wish he would have kept it but didn't keep radios very long always trading.

Mike why do you refer to solder as sodder I am from Australia and we talk a bit funny here I know but we say solder using the L in the word.
