Cool vid! Some of these things are a bit high concept for me. I simply like the things I like just cuz I like them. It’s hard to describe why I like certain anime over others but I don’t think that realism really is the way to describe why I enjoy it

And that is completely okay! Sometimes its better to just sit back and enjoy what you want to rather than overanalyzing every detail, if you like a certain show its okay to end it at just liking it:)

12:45 the reason i don't like live action remakes and think they'll rarely work

3:45 how can you say that your perspective on dragons doesn't exist because you've never seen one? What about someone who has never seen a lion rlf but still likes them? Have you never had a perspective on something you've never seen or even isn't real?

good point, but i think the main difference is that i can talk to people who have seen lions, hear their stories, go online to see people talk about lions and see videos of them. My perspective of lions is built on the footage i have seen of real lions and real stories, whereas, because no one has seen a dragon, and no one has any stories apart from folklore, i can't definitively create my perception of dragons. i do think i could have worded that section better in my opinion, but i hope this clarifies things
