for ratio and proportion 1st question the simplest method you can do is A:B=1:2 B:C=3:4 FOR A SIMPLY MULTIPLY column 1*3= 3 FOR B SIMPLY MULTIPLY DIAGONALLY 2*3=6 FOR C MULTIPLY THE LAST COLUMN OR VERTICAL LINE 2*4=8 HENCE A:B:C= 3:6:8 MEANS A:B= 3:8
