  • Leo Tolstoy wrote this short story in 1885. He was experimenting with new ways to tell the old story of Christianity. I think he did a great job. You can read the story here.

    Very nice performance! And the choice of pictures is very well done. This goes nicely with the Tolstoy readings by Alan Davis Drake, as an inspiring collection of Tolstoy's work. It is a great tribute and an excellent vehicle to inspire a new generation.

    This would have been even more enjoyable if the narrator had resisted the urge to attempt an accent for each character.

      Unfortunately I don't. I found it in a book that was a collection of quotes.
