I don't play verge, the only thing that I remember doing with it was the introduction to verge and that is all. I know that I swap classes for now due to the fact that I haven't played all classes to essence mastery four. I got the following three to essence mastery four; 1.) Demon Hunter, 2.) Barbarian, 3.) Wizard. After wizard I swapped to Necromancer since I wanted to finish the intelligence classes before moving to the remaining four that are all strength classes. When I have all five at essence mastery 4. Then I will decide what I want to do with Vanguard. If I know what class that would be my main and I know that I would always have more than enough different builds that I would be able to switch to that would keep my interest in playing Immortal. Then the vanguard gear will be what I would be after. If I keep class swapping on a regular basis though i would dare say probably not.
Echo, its a shame you don't do this twice a week, where else can you get 6 or 7 legendary pieces and 2 or 3 set pieces from doing about 15 minutes of game content (Van4X5)
Both post about vanguard mentioned money. I dont even think theres a way to spend money for this mode and most grinders have rank 20 charm for weeks now.
I think this graphics update will the biggest improvement this quarter. I assume with better graphics control comes more efficient coding and data processing/flow, which in turn improves less lag. This brings in more players, increasing overall server platinum count and item availability on the market. Echo, I’m so passionate about this, I’m willing to put together a “pitch deck” page and do a survey with the following suggestions: Blizzard still needs to work on numerous mechanics. The Wild Brawl event is terrible when it comes to mechanics, especially on pc. Having the ability to maneuver every action dialogue box with the right directional pad is something I am expecting, as well as many others like reward upgrades that are obsolete (dungeons, BG, heavy treasure chest, newer essence and secondary chosen gear from chest or event, etc), family set bonus for 8 gear set, the ability to save those cursed gear set with the armory, slot increases for normal gem, charm essence switching, and the ability to pause queuing PvP while in dungeons or farming side quest/elites and go back to last position once the battle ends.
Combat rating is not the be all and end all of what gear is better. If you have all your scrap upgrades it gives headroom to drop combat rating in favor of other stats or bonuses you might prefer to have in certain content, like terror bounties or vanguard ironically where combat rating requirements are lower. So gear with unique bonuses can be useful for more than one month even if it is way lower combat rating. That's why you have multiple gear sets. Granted, it's super clunky though to manage them if you class change and you have to choose one gear set to take with you to the class change.
Too bad you not accomplishing this, missing out of secondary jewelry items, leg gear chances on each run, sometimes two or three pieces of leg gear can drop. I have a 5% chance of proccing a double ultimate on any primary attack, which is pretty freaking cool !. Extra 60k plus damage plus effects.
Rank 20 gets you a guaranteed 3 attribute 4 magic boss piece and it was a super casual mode to get it, unfortunate you’re going to miss out on this echo. Working on my 3rd r20 charm for the hell of it right now
I don't know if you ever Played lvl 4 in vangard: you get the legendary gears with the special attributes in Approx. 2 or 3 Times out of 5 runs, every Monday and every thursday
the vanguard gear works with primary attack now in additional to ultimates. Everyone now needs 4 pieces to have BIS gear. You will proc all 4 unique ultimates with a 2 minute cooldown
Got a level 20 bane charm now and levelling my level 13 heal charm next, gives good XP and great stat items, as much as a solid team is concerned, meh if the team sucks I leave immediately to avoid wasting time and just find another party, pretty much as long as everyone spams their charm skill its good.
I hated Vanguard so much, but yesterday i ran it again on difficulty 4 and it was not bad. People already learned how to play it so it was pretty easy and got some greens, legendaries + rank 9-13 spell stones (or whatever they are called) and 100 battle pass activity points. So it was worth my time and lets see at level 20 what i get
EU lag is insane, makes raids/pvp/defence etc rough on good days, damn near unplayable on bad days. Due to this we have lost so many people in wb/clan who just quit to the game and i cant deny im on the cusp of doing so myself as i only log in to do raids etc now and even that is just becoming painful. Lack of content (same events echoed repeatedly is just old at this point) and the farming is far from run with the drop rates being trash, so many attributes no one wants muddying the pool, the rng stack is so mad that farming is pointless.
Vanguard is worth doing guys, you get a new magic attribute that normally only works when u use your ultimate which now can stack and not need ultimate to spark the trigger and it stacks. Quite nice for raids n elites
Charms in vangard: i have 1 lvl 20 defence an 1 lvl 18 healing charm. A group of 4 players each with lvl 20 Charms and this is easy farming of items, XP and greens
Hey man, I think there is something out of sync with what you are saying in your videos. The Paragon level really is only part of the combat viability of your class. I've been only playing this game for about 2 weeks now and I am at Paragon 551. BUT I still do NOT have my gear at level 30 nor all my set pieces at level 19. WHICH MEANS my combat points STILL do NOT meet the requirements for INFERNO 3. In fact, my combat points only allow me to qualify for the 2nd to the last boss of INFERNO 2 Helliquary. So to say that class viability scales off of Paragon level is not even close to being accurate. You need your GEAR leveled up maxed to level 30, which literally IS the grind and takes some time. Also, you need to raise your Helliquary level as well as your WARBAND COMBAT LEVEL. All these contribute to your overall combat points and viability. Paragon level IS NOT THE MEASURE OF CLASS VIABILITY, otherwise I wouldn't NEED to level up all my gear, warband and helliquaries to even qualify for INFERNO 3. Also, keep in mind that I am a F2P player that only have bought the Battle Pass (I bought the Battle Pass thinking since I am investing time into this game, I would support the game at least monetariy, what I would normally do when I buy a game to play).
I see no one mentioned it yet but how bout that paragon tree we been waiting on to basically fill completely with the points we're sitting on while they find some other small bs thing to "add or fix". Filling a new tree would add a MAJOR stat boost to all of us, so why don't they? It's been months. Geez I'll be able to fill 2 trees soon. How no one is making this a big deal is beyond me. Easy thing to do to make ALL of us happy, so actually makes sense why they don't now lol
I tried matchmaking for vanguard this week and didnt find a group. I think people who cared already got it done and not a lot are doing it at this point.
I guarantee you rewards from vanguard are better than any other aspect of the game including open farming, bounties, and dungeons. Every 5 minute max run you’re getting Lego’s and set items…

When you don't log into the game for certain amount of the days you get returner event rewards a ton of legendary items every day and free levels

The 1 second delay on the hammer of the ancient is a set back the enemies don't have a delay. I don't like it.

It's fun as long as you have a solid team, takes maybe 20 min at most to do the weekly 5, but now you can get leggos and set items from it randomly

Maybe it’ll be a piece of gear Lila a mysterious equipment. So we can save it till paragon 600 plus.

This isn't quite right. It resets every monday and thursday and on evry time there are lots of players who run their 5 runs..

And btw i claimed 6 Green items this week on the 4th lvl of vangard. This is pretty average and a very fast way to get them
