(1) D-Styles "Barely Legal Breaks" (2) Toadstyle "Get Em" (3) Symatic and Kutclass "Combinations from the Masters" (4) D-Styles, Excess, Mike Boo Ricci Rucker "Bastard Language Tour Vinyl" (5) Q-Bert "Superseal" (I feel like listing this is kind of a cop out but I use is SOOO much it had to be listed).
No definitely not the best, bionic booger breaks are the greatest breaks ever.. But I would put super duck breaks second, good shout. DJ flare with Hee Haw brayks was the most used in my collection for word vocal scratching, had so many battle breaks in the days, don't forget frosted breaks think that was rectangle. very much loved and well used, amazing days so much better than now. Excellent channel.
My top 5 are as follows. 1. Hee haw breaks by dj flare #1 🤠 2. Cold turkey cutts by dirt style records 3. You need new breaks by dj revolution 4. Gamblin Pete loan shark juice breaks 5. Hamster breaks, by bullet proof scratch hamsters. Great vid bro! 👌
@@RyanFreshhh haha word i still have my OG copies from 05', beat to shit but its nostalgic asf to toss on the tables. theyre getting harder to find and more expensive each year on discogs.
If you don't have record stores in your area (SOMETIMES, they'll still carry scratch records), I would recommend OpenFormat.com, ScratchBreak.com, and MegaDJ Center :)
I have all those Skratch records & crates more..... BUT, one should NOT limit themselves to only Skratch records. You can get creative on the Skratch with any record!!! Any album, 12”, 10”, 7”, or EP....
If you like that beat you juggled on 5 fingers of death check out the song visualise by mr complex !!!! I have all 5 of these in my collection! But for my tastes I liked bionic booger breaks better than toasted marshmallow breaks ! But there both great in there own way !!! I also love a battle break called ultimate cakes and sweets
Lmao u had "The Chipmunks", I had "The Superbowl Shuffle" 45 from the Chicago Bears....... And worse, I was scratching across the grooves, not with them.......😳😬😂😂 I didn't know how it was done, I was 10.... But I knew I liked it 😜😉
I still have a mini collection of DJ Rectangles battle, breaks beats and scratches I bought these way back in 1992" 93" when my mom bought me a set of gemini dd- 50s turntables i put plenty of wear and miles on those battle records over the years and eventhough now they sound like hell lol i still wont throw them in the garbage for some strange reason lol, But thank god for serato dj i got all those classic battle break beats records downloaded into my music files in serato dj including super duck breaks that has some good stuff on it😎😎😎
I'm trying to remember the catalog, but I used to have a checklist for all those Rectangle records. Those were probably my first scratch records before the ISP ones.
Sucks alot of these were limited press. Every time I find a good scratch record on UA-cam I go look it up to buy and it's like 4yrs old and only 500-1000 copies made and sold out years ago 😔
Yeah. I found a near mint copy of Cheapshot Breaks for $20 a couple years ago, which is more than I wanted to pay for it, but I knew I was never gonna find it again.
Well sir, I've been DJing for about 11 years and I love playing with my turntables. I use dirt style record and this 70s disco instrumental to mess with. I feel as if using turntables and a record you feel like you're playing with time 🤷🏽♂️
The song that’s playing is called “Funky Suspense.” I got it here: www.bensound.com/royalty-free-music/track/funky-suspense And yes! Top 5 turntablism songs is a rad idea. Definitely a lot to comb through because there’s so many dope ones, but I’m gonna work on that! Thanks!
Can get a pair of AT LP-1240 turntables on eBay for £400 (£200 each) I gotta say I'm very very impressed with audio technica. I recommend them. Just saying🌚

Roc Raida’s beats for jugglers was one of my favorites. RIP

Great Post!! Really seeing the journalistic effort you put in your writing!
As one who is dusting off his turntables and starting again, where are some great places to buy vinyl? Thanks!
