I dreamt of him. Touched him n felt him as if it was real. This movie carried me through one tragedy after another. The perfection of Brad's portrayal of Achilles is phenomenal and impossible to forget. A movie that'll instill in you to feel, to fight and to never back down.
I love this comment ! I am a mental health therapist and I help people find montages that speak to them like this and to hypnotize themselves with it! It’s a powerful tool for transformation! Far more powerful than talking about your history talking about mythology of being a victim in life !!!
@williams9195 Yeap, it is true Achillies was just a teenager. In some versions of the myth, Achilles is as young as 11 when the Trojan War begins. In others, he is as old as 20. The Iliad covers only a few weeks of the war, near the time of Achilles' death. This puts his age in The Iliad at anywhere from 21 to 33 years old. Some say he died at 15, 17 or 33. All 3 ages are just too young.
As well in America 🇺🇸 much respect for the Helen's of the past. Though some say he wasn't as well as Megas Alexandros. It will be my son's name if I'm blessed with one but in Helene language not achilles but AxinEA£. The father of my nephew is named Achilles.
To be honest they were both warriors following orders of dumb foolish elders. They both happened to be heroes and villains in each others stories because of having to follow dumb foolish old men. Its just as King Odysseus said " War is young men dying and old men talking".
What made Achellis Great? He fought for his values not for values that the world adheres too. He values the glory of his purpose to be a great warrior above everything. He is not just a warrior, he is a philosopher who kills not because he is told to buy because he is open to carrying the burden of his killings. He lets life take its course and honours it. He explains he never chose this life he was born and this is how he is now. He does not complain, he owns up to his truths and moves on where it is necessary.

I literally have self learned to sword fight because of his memory a beautiful Art most descendents of warriors have long forgotten but I will not be one neither my son if I'm blessed with one he will be 1000 Fold of whatever I'll be. I will either curse or bless him with his name but not achilles but in the Helene pronunciation wich sounds much more beautiful. AxinEA£ sounds Ahilleus
