🇲🇾 Swimming Tiger, Roaring Tiger, Catwalking Tiger 🐯 - Zoo Negara Malaysia has it ALL

Zoo Negara is the national zoo of Malaysia, established since 1963. The Zoo is strategically located along the MRR2 highway and accessible by bus. The closest bus stop is AJ491 Zoo Negara, which stops right at the entrance of the zoo. Bus 220 & 253 will get you there.

🥇The Malayan Tiger
The Malayan Tiger is a subspecies of tiger that can be found in peninsular Malaysia. It has been classified as critically endangered due to the rapid decline in its population.
In May 2019, the birth of 3 Malayan Tiger cubs in Zoo Negara has marked a significant milestone in the journey of conservation. The Tiger cubs were given the name of Wira, Hebat and Melur. Unfortunately, the only female cub - Melur was found drown in the moat in March 2020. 😭 Everyone was devastated. Currently her siblings - Wira and Hebat are growing up happily in the Zoo.
🥈The White Tiger
The White Tiger is not albino but simply has lesser dark pigment in its coat. This makes them harder to blend in with the surrounding when stalking its prey as compared to the usual tiger.
The White Tigers in Zoo Negara look so adorable when they are resting on the ground. 😍 They are good in roaring too!
🥉The Malayan Tapir
I have been contemplating which animal to put in the third position. Many may not know about the Malayan Tapir. Some Malaysian could have seen them on the news about them being ran over when crossing the road. 😰
The Malayan Tapir has distinctive black and white coloration on its body just like panda, but sadly it has not received enough attention like the panda although it has been classified as endangered as its population has been declining.
Disclaimer: Actually it’s hard to name which one is top, second and third as every animal is special, the list is just of my personal view. I do love panda too. ☺️
