A very good first project! Those arm-warmers look so comfy! A naalbinder’s tip: if you want tighter, denser stitches, try tightening the stitch around your needle instead of your thumb. Happy naalbinding!
Thank you for watching and for.your advice 😁 my stitches were a lot denser with the second and third mitts I made, I guess as I got more comfortable with the stitching. I will trying tightening around the needle with my next projects 😁
The thumb.is the biggest factor. I noticed a big difference in gauge between my first attempt and the second and third attempts. So I think tension is a factor too. I think what stitch you use is a big factor too. Oslo stitch is one of the simpler stitches, because there's less strands crossing over. Which means it's less dense as a consequence. Just means I'll need to try all.of the stitches 😂
Never heard of this form of needlework before, it’s so interesting to see what can be done with a needle and a ball of yarn. Thank you! 🧶😊

That was really interesting, I love the look of the texture. I’m definitely going to give it a go at some point. Thanks for showing something new! 😊
Absolutely love them. 😊
Thank you!
Loved seeing you do a “spit join” with your yarn.
The perks of using a woolly wool!
That was so interesting 🌞
I’m in absolute awe! 😮 Love that you were able to pick this up so quickly… I need to try again sometime!
Once you've got the hang of it, it's quite addictive.
Very Interesting thanks for sharing.
I've been wanting to try nalbinding! I wish the sped up portion was a bit slower for viewing comfort.
That's fun! It seams to me that gauge is decided by your thumb size? 🤔

Interesting technique. Have you tried Tunisian Crochet?
I have done but it's been many many years since. Maybe something I need to revisit.
