It's always interesting to me how people pronounce fantasy names, Kibler pronounces Arugal as "ArOOgl" but I always pronounced it and heard it pronounced "ArugAAL" with the emphasis on the second "A" not the "O".
There was a slight missplay on 5:18 Kibler should have definitely silenced direhorn and blazecalled tar creeper. Then he could kill 3/3 with Zilliax and smash warrior's face with this juicy King Mosh. ALL FACE NEVER TRADE. Me smart, me trying to smorc))
1.2k likes and only 9 dislikes that's impressive. Also just wanted to say that I've longed stopped playing hearthstone but I still watch your videos. There's just something about them
Actually it does have a chance once you get rid of all their big stuff. That Odd Warrior made some bad calls that cost him the game. The play at 9:20 could have been done in a better way for example.
@@fillosof66689 Well, that's certainly a lot of value. The issue against odd warrior is that they remove your big threats with shield slam. Getting one more Blazecaller or giant can go a long way.
you have to combine it with the book of spectres for it to be good or at least with 5-mana 5/5 elemental that draws a card. without book of specters it's just a 2 mana 2/2 that has to survive a turn to get you some value(but opponents will often kill it anyway)
@@ГенийЖизни-л7ю idk if he played the 5 5/5 elemental but he played Book back then already but even without the elemental i think it wouldve been worth playin Arugal earlier. Lategame u have the Chance to protect him and early game even one draw can be fine, ur Opponent potentialy dealing with it isnt a reason imo not to Play it.
There is a reason in not golden Arugal. When you draw cards with arugal + book, minions created by arugal are not golden. It is actually a very useful trick.
I just finished watching the other video, It's really sad that Odd warrior's win condition is "I hope I queue into aggro". It can only win with stuff that didn't start in its deck.
That's not ture. It's not hard for odd warrior to win matchups with mid-range and control decks(those with limited power only), especially with Azalina. It's only bad against all kinds of OTK decks and quest rogue.
Lewis Peng I kinda did miss speak, it can win sine it’s a fatigue deck, but it still doesn’t win since as you mentioned azalina just steals your opponents win condition
@@Tike22 Azalina can help odd warrior to win those matchups they would not suppose to win. But stealing win condition is not the major goal of Azalina. She takes important parts in odd warrior deck because she is a very good value reloader when warrior only have useless card-draw and removal in hand but the opponent might have a better hand in late game. And then warrior could make a comeback with armor-up, mass removals and later fatigue. You can watch the last video Kibler plays hand mage against odd warrior (ua-cam.com/video/oAQCZ9l7pdc/v-deo.html). Azalina literally made the swing of the game. And even in this game, the warrior might still have chance to win if he could play Azalina instead of Dr.Boom at 8:07. Because unlike the warrior, Kibler don't really have many removal in this deck. If Kibler got his Jaina at the end of the deck, he was likely to lose in fatigue after that Azalina. However, I think this warrior didn't play very well in this game, wasted brawl too early.
Lewis Peng You day can help, all it really is doing is using the opponents cards against them in conjunction with very powerful hero power, hence why I said they win with stuff that didn’t start in their deck. And it’s kind really boring, I can understand ppl playing other control decks because they’re constructed to at least have a win condition, but not this one. Azalina is just part of the problem omega armory, Elise, boom are all great fun but poor as a win condition. It kind of feel like bs when that deck wins against you.
@@Tike22 I guess you can say armor up is a win condition? It's just some kind of deck good against some and bad against others. I feel OTK decks like Druids and Shudderwock Shaman are more frustrated against, since there is barely interactive in a whole game, and they still have very good chance to win.
It annoys me that Brian pronounces Arugal like he does because I feel like it should be pronounced 'AruGAHL', with the stress on the last syllable rather than the middle. I don't know if that's how his name is really pronounced, I just prefer it that way cuz it feels nerdier.
its meant to be pronounced like that because its kinda a pun on awroo you know the onomatopoeia for howling (with him being the guy who brought the worgen curse onto people in the first place) Blizzard love dumb jokes like that
I'm still not sure how good Zilliax is, especially in a deck with no mechs. Against Rogue in particular, you're playing a 5-mana Lesser Amethyst Spellstone that can't get upgraded.
Even if you're able to get more healing off, I'm still not sure it justifies the high cost. I feel like the two health means it dies to a lot of spells, so the extra healing is unreliable.
Absolute unity, precision, perfection
FLAMES consume you! (also: I killed them! i killed dem awll!)
"If my opponent is playing odd warrior"
me :Are they playing anything else
Recruit Warrior is a thing.
There is a rush warrior with Dr boom that is pretty good plus a recruit control warrior but like 95% of the time it's odd
I'm seeing how good Warrior is with all its best assertive minions from each expansion lol. Ghoul, Bloodhoof, rush+WCA etc.
Horn ofFrog this proves my point
@@xiayu9451 I wasn't disagreeing with you
10:30 Small missplay fireplume phoenix on your own vodoo doll +ping face for exact lethal was the vaguely fancier play.
I'm gonna try this deck out, looks like a lot of fun! Just a bunch of chunky midrange minions and I've always loved Blazecaller.
@Don Buri Odd Warrior has a 30% WR against Frost Lich Jaina lists, sooo...
It's always interesting to me how people pronounce fantasy names, Kibler pronounces Arugal as "ArOOgl" but I always pronounced it and heard it pronounced "ArugAAL" with the emphasis on the second "A" not the "O".
Well, that's because he would always call him arugula, so it kinda stuck :P
And to complete the trio, I always called him AArugal, with the stress at the start (like Aragog from HP). I wonder which of us is right? :D
You always have fantastic classical music, sorry if this is posted somewhere else but is there a particular playlist you listen to?
I already missed tesspionage :*(

Kibler's that kind of dude that makes me want to predict what he's going to do on his turn in an effort to improve my own play.

this deck is legit insane
keep up the good work kibler :)
I disenchanted everything on my secondary quest account and made this deck. The deck is fun, 18-2 with it today.
I wish I’d played against more people like Kibler when I played magic. I don’t mind losing to someone who’s having a blast killing me. Haha.
Man, do Brian’s decks eat control decks for breakfest!
"Arugal's fantastic!" Literally the only card in the deck that is not Golden, pls Brian craft It it's beautiful
Ganyu and Nilou are both different forms of perfection
That deck name. :D
Is that a "Neverending Story" reference?
Did he just rename this deck since yesterday's vid, or did I just not notice it?
Archmage out here doubling that bread
Huh. How long was the deck name a Neverending Story reference?
Odd Warrior just has no chance against this pure minion deck.
Endless waves of thicc minions, value overwhelming

Odd Warrior can delay long enough with his removal, then hard win in the fatigue game.
ingenjannik even when someone is as lucky as Brian here and gets a quality doubling action from Arugal?

eerily similar to yesterdays game. same arugal draws

Flanking Strike is definitely a more accurate comparison. I struggle to wrap my mind around the power level of Rush as a mechanic.
Wasted potential on the deck name. Could have gone for, "Big Meaty Hands".
