Here's my better explanation of what happened after 2:26: When the fan fell, it landed on it's switch housing, causing the switch cap to compress inside the switch housing. The force of of the impact also pushed the switch housing against the motor, causing it to scrape against the motor, but not completely jam it. I think the compression from the switch cap broke the reverse switch from the inside, causing the fan to do nothing but hum on all speeds.
One time I had also used metal wiring to mount a ceiling fan, it was an old Franken fan that I never got a video of, but it had eventually fallen when I was messing around with how loose the mounting
These aren't as good quality as you think, unlike Hunter Originals, most '80s and early '90s Casablancas, '80s SMCs (like my A52 for example), and other truly high quality ceiling fans us fan collectors enjoy. You can still get these from Home Depot and are common across the nation, so it's not a huge loss.
2:26 Worlds most stable and sturdiest ceiling fan.
I normally don't like most ceiling fan destruction videos, but this one was rather quite enjoyable.
2:30 HOLY FUCK! IT COMPLETELY TWISTED ITSELF FREE! XD
It thudded loudly against the concrete floor right after!
These look like a hunter Mariner and Infiniti combined
Yeah. I hardly ever see you comment on my channel though.
2:26 Pov that one family hired their "professional electriction" brother to mount a ceiling fan on totally not a plastic light box.

This fan reminds me of my grandmothers porch fans (Hampton bay gazebo II pluses) without the light.
Interesting.

I thought it was a homemade fan on the thumbnail 💀

@@JAX207CFS the hunter original is annoying to add oil it wobbles too much though.
@@josephfrye7342its not annoying, you only have to oil them like once ever 10 years. if you can’t do that you’re simply just lazy
