I got the full metal one too, but with the pistol grip, if you get the pistol grip then both sling attachments come on the back and front, usually it doesnt come with the back one when you get a stock
Yes you're absolutley right. My friend actually recently got that exact versions and right at the bottom of the pistol grip it does have that sling point, like you said. We also threw a few upgrades into it since he's a big shotgun guy.
the "ejection port cover" is metal. but it really looks like plastic with some cheap chrome finish. sprayed mine in matte black and sanded down it some to get some highlights from the metal under it on the edges that would get worn in the real steel counter part.
Good review. I found it because I am going to buy the CM.356M TACTICAL. I really like your involvement in the comments! Let's continue like this :D P.S. I went to the site in the description, and I recommend the Taiwangun website, for all those seeking a wider choice among CM replicas (No, I was not paid for it xD).
No I haven't. Truth be told I haven't put out much in the way of content on account of money being really tight lately. So in a bout a month or so I'm hoping to be clear of some pretty big bills and putting out content again. Thanks for the sub btw, really appreciated!
I do, they're generally called "30 round shotgun shells" or "Tokyo Marui shotgun shells" and they're pretty cheap. There are various brands and you can buy them from pretty much any airsoft store, online or otherwise. They all perform about the same. www.evike.com/products/48408/
Yes the shells are reusable/refillable. However I should note that this is NOT a gas powered shotgun, it's a manual pump shotgun, meaning when you rack back the pump a spring is compressed inside. When you pull the trigger the spring released along with a piston which shoots the BB out. TLDR yes you can refill the shotgun with BBs. You don't need gas.
Yes actually it was quite simple. You can either take a blow torch to it, or if you're feeling a little wary with fire, boil some water. After you stick the orange tip in the water/heat for some time, the glue that keeps the tip in place will get weak enough where you can take a pair of pliers to it and remove it easily.
Afraid I'm not sure. I know that the stock and pump can be removed, but if I had to guess I'd say they are either proprietary or aren't compatible with real-spec furniture. That said, nothin modding can't fix
Nice review! After watching your video, I decided to buy the same shotgun as yours lol By the way, did you take the orange tip off? If you did, how did you do that??
Thanks alot for the kind words. And ya, you can easily boil a pot of water, stick the barrel in it for about 20 seconds to a minute, then pry off the tip with plyers, as the glue will be loose enough at that point.
It's very possible that the manufacturers have changed how many shells the gun comes with, as such I can really only tell/show you what I got in my package. And as you can see in the vid, it comes with 3. Again that's not to be quoted, as it's been years since I originally purchased this shotty.
While it's no gas shotgun, which are inherently easier to pump, it's not difficult to pump. I'm around 100lbs and it's not hard for me. I could see it being a bit more of a challenge for the younger crowd (kids) because of how long the shotgun is and the spring they have to compress. It's about on par with other spring shotguns. The real trick is making sure you pump it all the way, otherwise you don't prime the spring. But if you're confident in your ability this is a non-issue. Hope that's helps. =)
I want to say that it's great, but I got the metal variant specifically because I wanted durability, and I don't know enough about the plastic version to make a good call on that. Sorry, but I don't wana spread misinformation, and tell you it's good when I'm unsure. =(
Hello, im intresting to buy this replica on evike.com, Im living in canada (its not nescessary to have Orang tips) if i buy it on this site, can I have one without orange tips?
Yo, unfortunately if you purchase a airsoft gun from evike.com or any other U.S. based retail store it will come with a orange tip. However they aren't hard to remove and this can be done by boiling hot water and sticking the tip in until soft in which case you can simply pry it off. Another method I've seen my local tech use is taking a burner to the tip and prying it off after which is ALOT faster but not necessary. TLDR: Evike will sell it to you with a orange tip but you can remove it easily.
Well it's been a while since I been able to hit the field, or been able to keep up to date on the latest latest releases unfortunately. My 870s plastic internals did eventually breakdown (as all things do). But fortunately stores like Evike do sell metal replacement parts, and they're pretty cheap too. I haven't had issues with it ever since. So is it worth it? If you like shotys, are on a budget, and are willing to spend a tiny bit more to upgrade it, yes I think it is.
This particular one can be. Though honestly I haven't had much trouble as I simply hip fire it if it get's too tight to shoulder the gun. However if you follow the link in the description, you will find a few variations of this same shotgun but with a folding stock or even no stock, which are more than suitable for CQB. Hope this helps. =)
Thanks for the quick reply! I'm probably gonna just get the same one as you though because I just like how it looks with a full stock. I mean, if I was looking for something more practical, I'd probably just get Elite Force's mp5k. But there's just nothing like an oldschool shotgun!
I completely agree with you there, the action of a shotgun just is too good. And I also like the fullstock, it feels nice. I've played with shotguns that don't have a full stock and aiming is a bit odd to me, not that it can't be done. Also thanks for the sub! Sadly my gopro was recently stolen so until I get a new one it will be some time before new content. But as soon as I get one again, I'll be up and running. =)
The dam thing won't die. I'm thoroughly impressed with how well it's held up over the years. Considering that plenty of othe tri-shots explode after a relatively short lifespan, I can't say enough good things about it. It just works.
@@xoawolf good to hear! After trying my friend's tri shot yesterday I decided I absolutely need one. I'm pretty sure this is the winner. Same configuration as yours.

It's a VERY satisfying gun to use, definitely does not disappoint. Also Thanks for the sub yo. =)
so its 2017 now, hows the metal variant holding up? did it ever stop working?
Still holding strong, one of the sturdiest guns I've owned honestly. Shoots like a charm. =)

Nice, I like Fram of Mind too
On evike it says it comes with one shell but I've seen multiple review videos with 3 shells. So how many should I expect if I order one?

@@xoawolf alright thanks
Im late but how many bbs can one shell hold, does the shell act as a magazine, and does this replace having to load more than one shell?
Each shell holds 30 rounds, and the shotgun fires in bursts of 3, for a total of 10 effective shots.
