Cheers. Original author of the ampache-docker project here. Was looking through my GitLab projects for something and stumbled across this one. Haven't used Ampache probably since creating that Docker project 9 years ago, lol. I stopped primarily because the Android app STUNK... maybe it still does, who knows. Anyway I decided to look at UA-cam just to see how Ampache has changed over the last decade. Cool to see people still using the project (thought it's been heavily modified since I created it).
Wow this is a pleasant surprise. I appreciate this comment, and I'm glad you created the Docker image. Docker has always been associated with sysadmin & dev uses, but I've always thought it simplified things for the general user. I think this is kind of an example of that. Also, Android apps are still kind of iffy. I used to use Tomahawk, but it's pretty much abandoned at this point.
Thanks a lot, man. I'm building a new PC and figuring out how I want to set it up. Music and having a music server is my first priority. Will be interesting to see how well this integrates with fooBar, as my primary playback app, but this will be the first time I have a server running 24/7 and this is a huge help.
Thank you, and best of luck. I've tried Foobar a long while ago, and it sort of reminds me of Winamp. Hopefully there is Ampache plug-in available for it.
Those are nice monitors, but I dont know a lot about them. Do they require an amplifier? In all the examples I see they don't have one paired with them.

Hi, I created the Bitcoin.
Awesome video! I was shocked to see how little views it has. Just continue uploading consistently and your channel will gro. Good luck!
Thank you.
I have been and its working out slowly but surely. Thank you for the encouragement.
It’s because most people use a service like Spotify, and others use Plexamp, Roon, Emby, or Jellyfin. Good tutorial though.
This was pretty helpful .
When you set up various user accounts to vote on what's playing next how does that work?
I honestly have not tested democratic play, but I have had multiple accounts set up for friends and that works at least.
@@DSTechMedia is that what the feature is called within the app?
I believe so.
@@DSTechMedia alright thanks
very helpful video, thanks man

Hey DS I am about to build ampache. I bought a pair of Genelec 8330a SAM. What amp would you pick to use them. Be lucky out there
