Oooh this is awesome! I also did a bug fixing and QoL improvements thing a long time ago, but never ended up releasing anything in the end... I'd love to contribute to your project with the stuff I did back then, if you're alright with that. Also really cool that you fixed the scroll lock thing! I didn't quite know the inner workings of the game that well to go that deep in fixing things, but I did end up adding the extended version of the final song with the amount of bytes saved by some other stuff! I'd love to chat with you about these things: partly because I started work last week on a remake of this game (I want to get it as accurate as possible to the original while still having it be nice C++ code -- not taking an emulation approach--), but also because I'd love to know more about how you did all this!

I've been working from the base disassembly recently for a hack of my own, which has involved touching up a few things, making code optimizations, and correcting the bugs I come across. Depending on what types of QoL improvements you want for this project, I'd be happy to push a few to this.
