Just realized it is probably a lot easier for Aljona to speak to Evgenia and Vladimir since they are all fluent in Russian. And easier for Bruno to speak to Vanessa and Morgan since they’re all french!!! And it’s so cute how Bruno took selfie with his former country mates!!!
Because both can speak in english which both are very eloquent ...always humble but straightforward .. vanessa and morgan i hopenwe can see ba k on the ice again ...missing them both

Adorable Vanessa qui, chaque fois qu'elle en a l'occasion, rappelle que patiner avec Morgan était son choix et que bien que leur parcours fut chaotique, elle se félicite de l'avoir choisi. Quant à Morgan, quel charisme et quel seigneur (il a un mot aimable pour les autres compétiteurs, est à l'écoute des questions-réponses là où d'autres pianotent sur leur mobile, il est calme, posé, réfléchi, auto-critique, drôle...).

Aljona Savchenko & Bruno Massot are German but at 16:50 Aljona speaks in Russian with the Russian couple and Bruno discusses in French with the French couple.
At 13:26 Bruno says "J'n'arrive pas à trouver mes mots" in french (I can't find the right words in english). He is the first german guy since Klaus Barbie who thinks first in french rather than in his native language (LOL).
Aljona is Ukrainian, but she had a German partner since 2003 until he retired in 2014. Bruno is french, and used to compete for France, but the German federation had to negotiate for him to be released by the French and was only allowed to compete after they payed 30K euros. He just got his German citizenship recently.
30 k€ = a gold ingot (1kg) = 2 gold medals.

I love James/Cipres pair but in the beginning of their formation, Vanessa was actually suggested to team up with different partner, one of them was with Bruno Massot as he was still with French team back then. But that didn’t happen. Looking back now at how the James/Cipres team tragically ended, perhaps Vanessa should’ve listened to that advice. Oh well.. If only we could turn back time.
I don't understand why you have to belittle Morgan and his beautiful carrier. I love couple Morgan/Vanessa but maybe you forgot all the mistakes that Vanessa has made in their performances. I think Morgan deserved more.
@@giulia3317 I see them objectively as a team from a bird view perspective. I was only referring to how this partnership ended. In a team or partnership in general, one crucial mistake is enough to bring a whole team down, regardless what it was or who did it. Be it a mistake on ice or off ice. Had the universe worked differently on that day, it could’ve been Vanessa doing something stupid as well. Who knows.. I don’t defend any of them. Each of them had fair share to their ups and downs. I understand if people like Morgan only or Vanessa only but it doesn’t mean that it has got to do with belittling anyone. I’m sorry that my comment came across as belittling Morgan. That’s not what I meant. Again, I see each of them equally as part of a team. There are so many “what could’ve been” out of this situation but then again.., who knows what could’ve been.., could’ve been worst or better. You’ll never know.
@@orchidemmy6185 I understood what you meant. Unfortunately we can not see the future. We can only love what they have done in 10 years of their partnership knowing that sooner or later it had to end. But I think that both did an excellent job.
@@giulia3317 Yes I think they did. For me it’s interesting to learn that they almost ended the partnership twice. In one interview Vanessa (with Morgan presence) even suggested Morgan to find a new partner, as she seemed to be more into retirement. Seems that partner changing is quite common in pairs especially when things don’t go as expected. Vanessa had that but Morgan never did. Do you know why Morgan didn’t seem to be into the idea of finding a new partner?
@@orchidemmy6185 google the interview Vanessa and Morgan had with TSI (the skating lesson) from 2018 Morgan said he didn't want to skate with anyone else but Vanessa when asked.
Its inappropriate when the bronze medallists always start to answer before silver. Guys, show some respect! Russians dont speak English very well, so they need time to figure out how to answer. French should learn how to show some manners.

Nikki Agaeva: It"s a Press Conference, it's open for questions from the floor for ANY of the 3 pairs AFTER the Moderator asks the Gold medalist 1st question, Silver medalist 2nd, then Bronze medalist 3rd. Gold medalist was late and since they're on a time schedule, the Moderator had to start with Silver, then Bronze. The French, Bronze medalist only spoke when they were asked a question. In no way were they inappropriate, or lacked manners. They have no control over which pair is asked a question first. Sometimes you will hear someone say: "this question is for all three pairs". In this case l don't believe there's a protocol as to which pair answers first. This is the process for all the skating Press Coferences I've seen they have a certain order and this one was no different, that is why they have a Moderator at table. I hope this gives you a better understanding of what was happening here. In my opinion the French pair is one of the most mannerable, humble of pairs under ISU. I Congratulate all the winners, it took years of hard work to gain this honor!🤗🤗🤗
