I never know what to title these videos where I alter pieces like the flightsuit and holster lol so yeah, I'm aware I didn't "make" the suit and just altered it, but just know that I am equally confused on how to convey that in a snappy title for UA-cam :P hope you enjoy!
as well you should !
@@GreatChopps the toughest part about UA-cam is all the stuff that comes after, like thumbnails and titles lol. idk what to make of any of it!
Why would the internet be angry your holding the Dark saber? Bo-Katan had it basically from when Sabine gives it to her until the great purge.
for the past two years, anytime I held a darksaber in this specific Bo-Katan cosplay people would claim "that's not yours!" or "she lost it/it's Din's now" and I'm just like ... I want to hold the stupid darksaber, I'm going to hold the stupid darksaber!
Awesome tips! Thank you
I’ve wanted to do a Sabine Cosplay for years and I’m finally sitting down to do it. I understand the need for a cosplay to hold the darksaber 😂 I chose season 3 of rebels for Sabine just so I could carry the darksaber 😂
Can a meter be enough for Velcro? And by how many centimeters did you take it? Thanks!
Literally about to work on my flightsuit for Bo-Katan in five minutes, this came at the perfect time😂💖✨
What fabric is the costume made of?
well this channel will be my new addiction haha amazing work!! look forward to going back through your videos
Hey, I'm starting to plan my Bo Katan styled ladies Mandelorian build. But before I do, I'm new to all of this. I was thinking of customizing it to my own version of a lady Mandelorian - different colour's perhaps, different details and weapons. Within the Mandelorian cosplay community, do people accept something different?
oh yeah, absolutely they do! people make lots of custom mandos and mash-ups of characters from other franchises to make them into a mando color scheme. I'm not a member of the MMCC or the Mando Mercs if you're asking that though. They do require certain things to be approved as a member but it's not as restrictive as you'd think.
I just got a new CR-10 S5 yesterday, so I can print jetpack in one piece. along with full helmets without having to finagle them just right on a regular cr-10. Printing out a Ramikadyc Mandalorian helmet right now for my custom Mando armor. 2 day print. Xrossing fingers after seeing a lot of people have issues with this big of a printer. But first 2 smaller prints came out great. Thanks for all you do Fox, I have enjoyed watching you build this armor from start to finish.. Gonna be trying this new way of getting rid of layer lines that Darkwing Dad has been using. Hoping it works better than the Resin (yes I still use it). Anyways look forward to what you post next.
oh man, good luck with the jetpack print! I tried about 4 times and ended up wasting nearly a full 5kg spool of filament before I gave up and just bought a cast.
Im in the process of making a bo cosplay and I never thought to just buy the suit... defintly going to do that because I do not feel like sewing all that suit😨😨
Yep! Nothing wrong with purchasing one or commissioning a suit if you're not up to sewing the whole thing ... I certainly wasn't whenever I was working on this and my husband's Mando at the same time. Gave me more time to focus on the armor and all the other fun stuff!
Thanks for sharing. 👍🏻
Thank you sm, this is super helpful! May I ask, how would you seal the leather paint? :)
thank you! and this is the sealer - amzn.to/3FZlTKK
Wow. You are such an Inspiration! Thank you so much
awwww thank you so much!
Bless you for this series, I had a 2 year break from cosplaying because of burnout, but before that I really wanted to do Bo-Katan cosplay. Now watching Mando again reminded me of it and your stuff really helps me to understand this complicated process!
Aw thank you so much!!! and I feel ya on the burnout, I'm pretty sure I've pushed through several cycles of burnout working on this and my husband's Mando so I fully understand taking a step back from the hobby. Glad I could be a bit of inspo for you though!
About 95% of my Mando armor Velcro is held on with e6000. I use the sticky-back Velcro, and just use e6000 on the perimeter to keep the edges from peeling up. So far it's holding up.
that's awesome!!! good to know, have you washed it too and it still hangs on?
@@vaultfox So far, yes. A couple of cracks have formed, so I can see I'll probably have to touch it up at some point, but not too bad considering I didn't have to sew any of the velcro!
Another great video. Thanks.
thank you so much!
Your amazing keep up the amazing work. Thank you so much for all the tutorials
thank you so much :D
@@vaultfox I’m starting both suits for me and my wife . Neither of us have ever did cosplay but beyond excited
Another fantastic build tutorial!
aw thank you :)
that belt system is lit!
right! it's an awesome piece
Amazing work 🔥
thank you!
