"When robins appear, loved ones are near' - alludes to the belief that the robin is a messenger. When robins are seen, some people take comfort that loved ones are at peace, and many believe that their lost loved ones are visiting them.

Emma, my first comment but I don’t think you’ve made a video that I haven’t watched. I think every allotment should have an “Emma”. You are just such a joy. Your personality is a tonic … Jessie on plot 37 put a net over her pond to catch the leaves … if it helps. Keep being you, in all your girly glory ❤

Maybe put your compost container over that hole? Possibly, if it would fit, the pallet used as a door to your compost bins. ( if you could cut the one side off). Or as a deck/landing to your shed door? Love your humor as you approach problems/jobs on your allotment!

Great to see you planting in your new plot. I always get jealous when you talk about your seed subscription, nothing like that in Ireland (yet).

Love to listen to you and watch you,so funny you are.
I can understand how you feel when you are missing days.
    I'm the same.
Because of you and your inspiration,I am taking on a second plot.
I'm so excited Emma, just as you were.

You're using an iron rake (for leveling soil). You need a leaf rake. You'll find it will rake up leaves much better especially in the mulch paths.! Don't get a hard plastic one get one with metal tines.

Use a leaf rake! The garden rake works, but it's just not efficient. I HAVE A POND UNDER A PECAN TREE! I know your pond pain! Loving you from Oklahoma, USA

I always see her doing jobs the hard way without the tools I think she is working harder this way.. but then I noticed if she went and bought every tool I have thought she “needed” she would be down thousands of dollars.. and she usually makes it work in the end.. it ends up making me feel like I waste a ton of money having the right tool for each job and that’s why I can’t even walk in my shed lol

Why not put a net over your pond just for the autumn, then you can just empty it into your bin

If you get some accellerant to put in your composter it will help to rot down quicker . It will warm up and cook it all if you cover the top and also the worms will be busy too 😊

The big tree in the middle could be Hazel, we have a few in our garden and they look very similar! The leaves absolutely smother our garden and all go in our pond. I put a large net over the pond to cover from the leaves otherwise they just take over!
