@Kitti and Jon Thank you we are so excited we live on Cape Cod USA. And my hubby is from dumfries so he hasn't been, which I can't believe. But thanks we are looking forward to it. 🥰🙏
Thanks was thinking about going to hit Skye this summer while in Scotland because of Storr and now because of you two I found quite a few more sites well worth seeing.
@@KittiandJon It is not a very hard sale, I’ll say that. I knew a few sites but didn’t know it was just gorgeous just about everywhere. You had me at dinosaur footprints too. It can only be seen at low tide and I’ll be there a good 36 hours and I’m gonna make sure to be at brother’s point at low tide so I can say I saw a dinosaur footprint and know for sure I saw one.
@@KittiandJon Just like you guys, everything looked like a footprint and I'm sure some were probably mangled up true dinosaur footprints I could never be real sure of any I saw. Walked the Quiraing trail and had to stop. I'm a coward with heights. Started Old Man Storr trail but it got super windy and the fog/clouds came in and we had to retreat. People said it was so foggy you barely even see Storr and we were literally almost there. All in all, Skye was amazing and thanks for the video. The Highlands in Glencoe are beautiful but Skye just seems primordial.
@@Epsilon015 we can totally relate to your experience with the dinosaur footprints! So hard to tell! Sorry you had less than ideal weather at Old Man of Storr...hopefully you can return to see it in good weather one day! 😊 glad you had a great time overall though...primordial is a great word to describe Skye! 👍👏
Weird, I posted a comment and it doesn't show though the number of comments includes it. Anyway just in case, I said something along the lines of: I was there today. I haven't been as lucky with the weather, so your videos make me envious. Clouds, mist and rain were all I got today (oh, and crazy winds). It kinda added a nice atmosphere to the place (especially this early in the morning as I was alone for a while) but also quite frustrating as no scenery or landscapes were to be seen. Could barely guess the top of the Old Man of Storr from right beneath it. My favorite part of Skye was the Fairy Glen / Castle Ewen, felt very much "Shire" like, despite the roaring rain that got me soaking wet in 2 minutes while I was trying to climb the narrow path to the top of the castle so I went back down.
Hmm weird about the comment...sometimes UA-cam does play up a bit like that 🤔 such a shame you didn't have great weather for your visit to this part of Skye! Glad you still felt it added to the atmosphere in some ways though! We loved the Fairy Glen too...definitely reminded us of the Shire as well 😅 hope you are having a great trip to Scotland overall!! 🤞
Wow! The Old Man of Storr footage is breathtakingly beautiful! This whole area looks amazing. I hope I get to see if for myself someday. Thanks for another great video.
Wow, just makes me want to pack my bags (and raincoat) to go there! I love that you are always so well informed about the places you visit! But also that you show lots and lots of scenes without commenting them so I can really enjoy just "looking" at the landscape. Perfect mix of both
Thank you so much! 😊 we're glad you are enjoying our videos and that you find the balance between talking and showing the landscape is good! We always try to give a good mix of both 👍 hopefully you can make it to Skye one day! 😊
Thanks Jorge! 👍 we use the 14-150mm lens for photos and any video we want to shoot! Think it's a pretty good all round lens that we don't have to swap out very often 😊
Hmm...that's a tough one! Maybe Old Man of Storr just because it is so iconic...and the views from there are also amazing 😍 but definitely try to do both if you can! The Quiraing is awesome!
Great video Kitti and Jon. Thank you for sharing, and wishing you a wonderful upcoming weekend. Take care - atb
Thank you! 😊 all the best to you as well and thanks for watching! 😊
Wow! Breathtaking views.
They definitely are!! Thanks for watching! 😊
Thanks you two ..great videos we are head there in April. Keep up the great travels. Much appreciated 🙏 ❤💖
Thank you 😊 we hope you have a fantastic trip to Skye! It is truly an amazing place 🙌 🏞

Thanks for watching! 😊 Skye is definitely a part of Scotland that keeps on giving! Beautiful sites everywhere! Enjoy your visit 😊👍

@@Epsilon015 good luck with the dinosaur print hunting! Hope you have better luck than we did 🤞 you'll have to let us know if you find any!

Thanks a lot Karan! That whole North East area of skye is just stunning! Hope you get to see it someday as well! 😊

That place is a long time in my plans!!! The views are breathtaking ❤️ Loved your vlog guys…you earned a new sub today 😊 Congratulations 👏
Thank you so much! Really appreciate it! 😊🙏 hope you get to visit Skye one day soon! 😊
Excellent video as always. Keep doing it. By the way, what lenses do you use in your Olympus om-d e-m10 mark iv?

Hi Kitti and Jon. How many hours did you take to visit all these places?
Hi 👋 not sure exactly but we were definitely out all day. Probably left between 7-8am and got back around 5-6pm.
If you had time for just one which one would you do...quiaring or storr
Hmm...that's a tough one! Maybe Old Man of Storr just because it is so iconic...and the views from there are also amazing 😍 but definitely try to do both if you can! The Quiraing is awesome!
@@KittiandJon Perfect, suer helpful
Also what was your personal favourite among all the view points shown in the video
I think our favorite views were from the Quiraing 😍 the landscape there is just stunning and you can see for miles! 😊
@@KittiandJon thank you so much
