Welcome back to PA. I live in Central Pa, started watching you when you did your Hershey Hotel /gardens blog. I enjoy your channel. You picked a good week to visit weather wise . Just to let you know if you’re in the Mechanicsburg PA area there’s a Wegmens there. Please be careful driving because of deer running out in front of you, my daughter just hit a deer last night going home. Unfortunately the poor deer didn’t make it, totaled her car but she was okay, thank goodness-glad she had a Subaru. I hope you enjoy your visit.

I just started following you and Tampa Jay and I can't wait to see where you go in PA. I had family there when I was younger and we took road trips from OKC to PA a couple of times. We visited McAdo which is by Hazleton.

I love traveling alone, I lived up north my entire life and moved to NC a couple years ago to be near family and raise my sons I miss Fall it's my favorite season so I definitely understand the sentiment of feeling like you're missing a place you used to be and loved to live in a spot that may not be your first choice but it's the optimal choice it's hard I feel like my body is here and my soul is elsewhere, have a safe trip Cris!
Yes in the Buffalo area we get all four seasons and the winters are brutal sometimes but if I moved to Florida like I say I’d like to I’d miss it here at home.
My daughters are your age so I am probably close to your parent’s ages. I know how much I love being with my girls so I know your mom must be so looking forward to your visit. Enjoy the weather (I’m in PA, too only the Pittsburgh side) and love and enjoy time with your family! Be safe in your travels!

I despise long road trips and would NEVER do it alone for sure. I would have flown, would have given you more time with your folks. I do get your excitement to see the Fall and feel the fall air, I know too first hand from living in south Fla for 30+ miserable years I wanted to cry every fall and winter due to no change of season. I despise the summer heat and humidity and thats all you get year round in HOT FL. Be safe on those roads you are very courageous! I know sweet Bella will miss you 🐶

I’m a few videos behind but read the news so I’m not sure you’re home or at your parents but I hope you and Tampa jay are safe from the coming storm. I read they are evacuating parts of Tampa bay. My thoughts are with you and of course Bella!
Been on I95 quite a few times. It is boring and usually crowded. The worst part is the Carolinas because it's only two lanes! I asked at the welcome stop why. The gov doesn't want to ruin the scenery!! All you see is the back of big trucks! The only good part is South of the Border a must stop! Very old timey and kitchy, but a lot of it has closed down. Hope your home stays safe during Hurricane Milton. Oh PA is beautiful.

I grew up and raised my kids in NJ and went to Lancaster MANY times in my life💜One of our fav places to go on weekends! My Son still lives in NJ while I suffer in the hell of FL🥵🔥where he has a Camper year round near Lancaster and is still lucky enough to go to on weekends❤️😎 No clue now why I moved to THE hottest place in the US👎👎👎🥲

I used to read alot when younger, but rarely these days. When yiung i loved horror books. I was around for The Amityville horror when released. Lol. Another genre i found i enjoyed was true crime, especially serial killer books. I can recommend something for you if you like that sort of thing. Its the PREY novels by John Sanford. All titles have "prey" in them. Follows a detective thru the years thru different cases. I would however mention going in order tho. Since it follows him so closely personally as well good to stsrt young and go as he ages.

Hey girl, If you run out of good reading after your road trip, can I make a suggestion, it's Young Adult reading but I adore the story series, it's called "The spooks Apprentice" by Joseph Delaney, it's based on old English folk stories and beliefs and it vaguely references the Pendal Witch trials, you might fire through it quickly but there's a whole series if you like it. Highly recommend to everyone who likes spooks and spirits without gratuitous horror.
We kive in Jax so you stopped in the beginning at our Buccees. I remember everyone going nuts when it opened. Lol. We pass by it going down to st Augustine but have never stopped in. Lol. We're originally from MD so have gone on that trip up 95 many times. Was 12-13 hrs to MD and we akways drove straight thru. And Oh yeah, we akways stopped at Pedros South of the Border. 😁
