Learning From the Holocaust: A Survivor Remembers with Mark Schonwetter and Isabella Fiske

As part of our 2024 Yom HaShoah Event Series, students and teachers were invited to hear directly from Polish Holocaust survivor Mark Schonwetter, Co-Founder of the Mark Schonwetter Holocaust Education Foundation. Listen to Mark’s story of survival, as he recounts evading Nazi agents and their accomplices, hiding in forests, and blending in with righteous Polish families that chose to protect him.
