Powerful truth. When we’ve been “born into” the church, it’s hard to feel brave enough to face the Goliath of daring to live differently than the indoctrinated rules. It effects my creativity too. I’m finally doing it at this late age in life, but I want to fully shed that old costume and do as the Father does for such a time as this. Thank you.

My response could be a book in itself. I thought I knew who I was, but over time, the enemy was allowed to speak more and more lies into my life. Between the lies, walking away from church, and health issues that got continually worse, I kinda feel like the prodigal child come home. Wounded and yet really pressing into who God says I am and His purposes for me and how He wants to use my testimony.
Bless you Matt, I feel so encouraged and renewed. When you talk it is confirming that God is with me and knows what I am going through.

You are very inspiring. Wouldn't it be nice to have our own Utopia? I need help sometimes. There are things that I cannot do myself but I try anyway and I am afraid that one day, I am going to hurt myself and I don't have health insurance. You gave me an idea of bartering my skills for the things I need done by people that have different gifts. In the beginning, that's how things worked but money became so much easier to exchange.
Lol well we can have a beautiful abundant life here and now as we all learn to walk in the fullness of the Kingdom. We can be ambassadors of restoration!

Thankyou Mat. Sadly I am one who after 50 years has left the church, and so much of what you have said describes me. So disillusioned, frustrated , confused, saddened, by the barrenness of church specifically , much of the church leadership. Your words help me to see how far I have slipped back in such an environment. Your peace radiates and shines a light on my lack of peace. Thankyou. Truth is also a light to show us our own state.
