I’d like the checklist that the lady mentioned that she uses the day before errand day. The one with the basket. 😊

My errand day runs in order of things to do starting with the farthest place as the starting point.
Drop off giveaways (whether I have a small grocery bag or a full trunk I make that drop off).
Next drop books at the library (new reads are delivered to us so we just have to drop off. But if I want to browse the library I would do it then)
Next are any returns if I have them(our shops are all in the same little shopping center) It's unusual for me to have something from other stores unless at Container Store which would be a separate errand.
If I needed a specialty shop I would place it into the order of places I'm already stopping at.
If I have an Amazon return I'd do it now because the USPS store is right next to my grocery store.
Last would be grocery shopping then back home.
Sometimes I might make a doctor appointment and fit it in on errand day.
I also "finish the process as soon as I return by making sure anything I took into the car that needs to come back in and by putting everything away.
I also 'process' my groceries. I start a pot of water to bring to a boil and put in any left over veg not used the prior week. And an onion, 2 celery ribs and a large carrot chunked up. Then I'll add any scraps from the freezer that I collected as well as the scraps from this day's prepping. This starts the making of the broth I may need for recipes or a soup for the weekly menu. I wash/rinse produce, peel, chunk, chop, dice and slice according to the recipes I will be cooking. When it has simmered for about 45 minutes to 1 our I'll strain it, let it cool, jar it and put it in the fridge.
Then I get the proteins ready, marinate, slice, chunk, form patties, and separate in portions needed and into separate containers and marked for each meal.
By doing this my meal prep is already done before I cook each night.
I also pre-cook/bake/fry any meats if a recipe calls for that so my stove top and oven are splattered only one time. Or roast a chicken for the week's menus if needed. (Easily think of what you might do with a rotisserie chicken).
And I may bake a dessert cake or bread or bars or cookies for snacks. When those are ready I can bag them into servings or leave in the appropriate containers.
Did you know you can scoop mashed potatoes or rice onto a parchment paper lined baking tray and freeze individual serving size portions and then when frozen put them in a container in the freezer? Pull out just what you need and microwave for a quick side. Or freeze them in a silicone food prep mold or cupcake pan.
I thought about YOUR Finish the Process (years ago when you did a video on that subject) and created a finish the process for after grocery shopping because we had too much food waste because by dinner time I didn't feel like prepping the foods.
And that's my errand and meal prep day. The rest of the week goes more smoothly.
I hope this helps someone else.
