Great trip. Finally you try the highest class on Shinkansen. Because you mentioned your trip from Tokyo to Hakodate, can't wait for that, especially when the train approaching Seikan Tunnel. Also can't wait for your trip trying Sunrise Express and other train.

If you have a green JR pass then those E6 mini-shinkansen are best avoided if you are travelling on the mainline shinkansen route. The trains are narrower than a normal shinkansen and green car and normal class are both 2+2 seating, the E6 green car seats much narrower than normal. I would change at Morioka from the E6 -> E5 if travelling all the way in green car - but you need to be quick at Morioka!
I’ve ridden on both Akita Shinkansen E6 to Akita & Tōhoku Shinkansen E5 to Shin Aomori on ordinary car (akita 2 x 2; tōhoku/hokkaido 2 x 3), E6 train is considered as mini shinkansen and has slightly narrower loading gauge vs the normal shinkansen eg E5, E7, N700A etc

First I can see that are slaves in masks.
The Japanese have worn masks for years. It's nothing new. Personal choice.
November 2022 and everybody on board is wearing a face diaper. Will it ever end?
Japanese often wore masks on trains even pre-COVID
They did it long before covid. Respect personal choice.
Probably, hopefully, next spring. When death /long covid will not come from the exhalations of the free breathers.
@@NonstopEurotrip They can wear a bed sheet wrapped around their head. Just don't insist that I do it too. Personal choice, remember?
@@sandydennylives1392 If the free breathers have covid, yet they are exhaling which means they are alive, then covid can't be that bad. Ever had a cold before? The same type of people that die from having covid are the same type that die from having the flu/cold.
