    Resiliency provides the ability to recover quickly from change, hardship, or misfortune. It’s associated with elasticity, buoyancy, and adaptation. Resilient people show flexibility, durability, an attitude of optimism and openness to learning. People often think that resiliency means being unflappable, strong or unaffected. But resiliency isn't simply a matter of touching it out. Developing resilience requires that you pay attention to the complexities of your experiences, listen to your emotions, and be willing to learn from disappointment as well as success.
    Resiliency can be developed. It’s possible to change your views, habits, and responses by modifying your thoughts and actions: 1) acceptance of change, 2 continuous learning, 3) self empowerment, 4) sense of purpose, 5) reflection, 6) support network.
