Another very nicely done video. It is also interesting to note at 1:54 the beginning of the steady and rapid drumbeat of the pistons pumping that is music to every rail fan's ear (including mine).
I would love to join her crew, only problem is, I have no idea how. :( I live about an hour away from the Wisconsin Auto Museum where she has her home, so I am close

Not many people were there at the time! In 2024, it was real packed!

That whistle sounds a lot like ATSF 3751's whistle! Hauntingly beautiful sound!
I love the sound of a steam whistle. Nice video 📹 👍
I love your PoV videos.
Great video, great story!
sweet video. awesome steam whistle.

Awesome video, very nice work!
For those who want more pictures, just Google "SOO 1003". Be sure to check out the Photo Charter to see it pulling ballast cars.
Excellent video, saw ourselves on there lol
I like the Baldwin RS-4-TC switcher. End cab, great visibility, Cat engine, convenient control layout. (I drive one, so biased)
She is racing through the wind
Good old Wisconsin steam.
Nice! (Must get back to work.)
could you come to Louisiana and film Southern Pacific 745? Or do a documentary on The Louisiana Steam Train Association?
you should guys do the Alaskan Railway or the railways and over Alaska. I think all real fans deserve to see a documentary on that what do you think?
Boris Obrucicov I'm surprised they don't have gated crossings
they do have a railroad system and the companies are Alaska Railroad, and White Pass Yukon route. you should check it out!
Where was the Soo Line 1003 taking you to?
Take the best 10 minutes and combine that with fotos and Videosequences from Exterior, the people on the train and the engine and it would be great.
is it my imagination? or does the whistle sound like the Nathan whistle that the NKP 765 uses?
To me it sounds more like the Whistle Milwaukee Road 261 Has.
It sounds more like a C&O 6 chime
Whatever it is, it sounds better than a diesel horn, lol.
Delay in Block Productions What Gopro Camera is it you Record on Soo Line 2-8-2 Mikado 1003 Steam Locomotive.
Excelente, ^^^

How fast do they cruise?
Jonathan Pressman 30-40MPH
I believe the more appropriate way to ask this question is to say............
When Do You Put The Throttle to the roof.
I like that whistle... I personally am not a fan of the varying pitches though
Hey Delay In Block Productions What Kind Camera is That You Record on Soo Line 2-8-2 Mikado 1003 Steam Locomotive in Wisconsin.
What whistle does 1003 use? I was thinking of possibly one day trying my hand at creating a Trainz replica of 1003

@@DelayInBlockProductions You guys are certainly the most innovative.
Nice video! One question - is the lack of snow cover typical for mid-November?
Clay Morgan Yes. We usually don't get snow in the area until after Thanksgiving/Mid December.
Thanks for the info!
The whistle sounds like the SOUTHERN PACIFIC 2472.,,,,hhhhmmmm....
all you see is a number sign and tracks. No train, or the engine. disappointing
You see what the locomotive sees
Frank Wortmann lots of other videos out there. This shows a different perspective then what your looking for
And also behind my house 😉
P
Boring! Nothing but views of the track. Where are views of the Locomotive?
