A very authentic interview - or perhaps better described as an engaging conversation - which conveys the genuine integrity of Jason Kostal as a talented and skilled guitar builder and as an approachable and generous individual. I can relate to Jason’s journey from various occupations/careers to finally embarking on his true path to realising his potential as a gifted guitar builder. The journey of life brings us to places we simply would never expect. However, when you hit your mid 50’s and start to give way to your burning desire to build guitars, the decision process is indeed daunting and challenging. Jason’s story does provide a great deal of encouragement and solace, so perhaps this is the start of a new journey, not just for me but for many who are genuinely inspired by Jason Kostal.
