Damn, I'm so glad that AR and Glass tech is coming to the forefront of the phone world. Just imagine how many groceries you can carry while still using your phone! Forreal though I'm sick of having to carry around a phone. Would be nice to have my ears and nose take over that responsibility for the rest of... well forever. Great video, thanks!

How long video can be recorded with these Vuzix glasses and what is the video image quality? Do you have video test sample? Do those glasses have the same video camera quality as the Samsung Galaxy S21?
Remember , these are going to be work glasses, and the first gen will be monochrome green. I suspect it will be a better experience when they have the color displays later this year.

1) right now the display is green only (best for work environments) full color will be out later this year. 2) the menu is the one thing I still don't know about. Will share when I see it for sure.
Yeah but are the microLED displays only green? I would definitely buy this if I'm able to use apps in full color. I've previously owned the Blade and loved how I could stream videos. It would kinda suck if I'm paying such an amount for glasses that can't accomplish what the cheaper blade can
The first version of the shields are aimed at industrial work, like smart safety glasses, that is why they are monochrome. The colored versions will be out later this year, of more likely (supply chain) early to mid next year)

Alright, this form factor, prescription lens availability, and it works with android, if that means you can watch UA-cam with them I think I found my favorite piece of tech. Two grand is a lot of money to pay for something, but dang this might actually be worth it.

I have found Vuzix' lack of communication absolutely ridiculous. I am a shareholder and cannot squeeze a word out of them. None of my emails are answered and all they do is send me cookie cutter promo shit. These were supposed to be in people's hands summer of LAST year. And not pushing for consumer release as soon as possible? That's gonna kill them. They are the only company who has product ready to go but they just won't take it to market.

They do have a pretty good digital zoom, not sure the exact amount.

That's a great question, I am not sure about the system, but they certainly could make work easier than a hand scanner.
Are they comfortable to wear? Not too heavy on the nose bridge?
Yeah, they are pretty light. The side rails have some length to them so they balance on the head nicely. Definitely could wear them for a while.

Full color is expected to be out by the end of the year. Green is for the first release and works real well in industrial environments.
