Morris and Hook were/are really awesome...but you have to give mad props to Martin Hannett for his inspired production ideas and ability to make something unique and special
lyrics for anyone playing along with guitar (me) To the centre of the city where all roads meet, waiting for you To the depths of the ocean where all hopes sank, searching for you I was moving through the silence without motion, waiting for you In a room with a window in the corner I found truth In the shadowplay, acting out your own death, knowing no more As the assassins all grouped in four lines, dancing on the floor And with cold steel, odour on their bodies made a move to connect But I could only stare in disbelief as the crowds all left I did everything, everything I wanted to I let them use you for their own ends To the centre of the city in the night, waiting for you To the centre of the city in the night, waiting for you
Hi Nick! Thanks for the post. I use a software called Moises. I take the actual original track, load it into Moises, then it breaks down the track by vocals, drums, bass, keys, etc. Once I have it in Moises, I can simply turn up or turn down or turn off any of the tracks. I then save that isolated track and load it into a different software called Veed. I load the audio file, add a photograph and it converts the MP3 file into an MP4 file, which can then be loaded on UA-cam, and Voila! Instant isolated track of any song and I can isolate individual or multi track parts of a song. For example, just bass and keys or just vocals, or just vocals and drums and so on. Is there a song that you would like to have isolated in a particular way? Hope you enjoy the channel as much as I enjoy engineering the content. Thanks, Buddy!!
@@isolatedfavorites5094 Ah I see, very interesting. Not a whole lot of actual official joy division isolated instrumental tracks floating around out there, you’re really doing amazing work. Would love to hear Disorder bass only, thanks for the detailed response and content!

Most of their songs sounded way better withour his "corrections"

Are these the actual instrumental tracks? If so how did you isolate them?

@@Nick-ne4lnI think Hook owns a lot of the masters I could be wrong. They exist just not public.
