We don't play with 3 at the back, when in posession Xhaka takes a place as third cb (cause Arteta already realize he's useless) but when we loose the ball Xhaka goes back to midfield, so no we don't play with 3 at the back cause in that case we'd need 6 cb and we just have 4

The problem with us Arsenal fans is we so worried about our lack to funds and tranfer budget but constant news. We threat over even spending a small free and paying a decent salary to a player like this. Any other big clubs and it's a standard experienced decent signing

He can attack and defend at the same time... Both kola and tierney don't play the way he does...

He's better technically than Kolasinac but defensively he's same as him.
How many times did you see him get the ball I think he's better than Kolašinac very skilful too and Kolasinac is a tank but seems to get bullied alot off the ball with Kurzawa he's a different kettle of fish he'd be a great signing for £6mil
1v1 you can’t pass kolasinac, he can also play as a cb so how is it possible that he can’t defend ? Kurzawa would make a nice backup
No pace on or off the ball, didn't see him take on one player throughout the video (and succeed). Honestly looks like Bellerin in three years, get the ball, pass the ball repeat. Don't see how this is an upgrade on Kola or Tierney, (apparently he's not supposed to be) both possess the ability to drive down the byline at pace; which is what we've been missing down the riight flank ever since Bellerin regressed as an athlete.
But, what do I know, just a guy on youtube, I'd love to be proven wrong, but i'm getting tired of these retirement signings, If he's not going to improve or provide competition, why ? What motivation will this player have when he signs a contract for 3 years, knowing he's just here to get some money while he barely plays ? I don't get it.
(And he's played in France for his entire footballing career, huge shock moving to the prem, especially to an unstable ship such as Arsenal. Look how difficult it's been for Pepe.)
POSITIVES
- He seems decent defensively, from what i've seen on the video, therefore this is just an assumption.
- He's french, meaning he should fit in nicely with the other boys at Arsenal.
- He should be in his prime right now at 27, not a bad age really, birthday in September.
-Supposedly a bargain signing, 6 mil + wages
-Won't be 1st choice left back, provides a decent second (or third) option.
Edit: Just watched another video where his ball carrying and acceleration appears to be decent. Very important for a fullback in an attacking system.
