Hi - we've just had a Titan 400w dirty water pump installed after some garden works we had done. However the automatic switch isn't coming on as, from what I can see, when the water level rises then switch doesn't title enough for the sensor ball inside the switch to move to the on point. Any advice on how we can better this?

If it is used occasionally, you can manually raise the float and start the water pump to complete pumping water.

@@StreamPumps hi, thanks for the reply. Managed to fix it. Basically the clip supplied isn't great and doesn't allow it to tilt appropriately as water rises, a cable tie has done the job and now works as expected.

I bought one of these pumps today to use the rain water I collect to wash my back yard down. It also saves me putting an outside tap in now or at least I'm hopeful of not needing one atm. LOL
Could u please tell me if it is ok to full immerse this type of pump with the electric cable under the water line? That scares the F outa me when I see that in this video??
Just found ur channel today so I sub'd and liked.
I would be ever so grateful if u could let me know if it is ok to allow my Parkside pump 400W Water barrel pump. It worries me seeing the electrical cable under water like that.

Thank you for your subscription。Check that the cable is not damaged. It can sink into the water. Be careful not to pull the cable when lifting the water pump. Use the supplied rope to pull up the water pump to ensure safe use.

@@StreamPumps I bought mine from a store called LIDL. It sells German made tools but on the cheap. I filled my bin to the top the other day and took a chance & dropped it in and it worked a treat tbh. It's only a 400W motor but it has aluminium pipes that connect together with a hook to hold it up in the bin I used.
I bought it instead of putting in an outside tap but I think there outside tap has to be put in now. I think I will use the pump in a water feature for my mothers back garden this summer.
I think it will create a nice fountain for her garden. U can't beat running water sounds in a garden.
I will be looking for videos on how to get that right next.. LOL

Would a pump like this be ok to recycle the water in a small fountain? I need to work out how to keep the water clear of bits and pieces that could damage the pump but I'll work it out.

@@reaper060670 This water pump can be used in fountains. If you are worried that a lot of impurities will affect the water pump, you can also consider choosing a cast iron or stainless steel submersible pump.
