I'm curious as to whether you fellas have ever tried those supposed night vision binoculars they sell for about $200? They sound like a heck of a deal, if they actually work. I don't know anyone that has tried them personally. With being on a fixed income, I can't really afford to waste that kind of money for something that doesn't work.

The $200 “Night Owl” and similar scopes don’t work at all on their own. They need a bunch of supplementary IR light to even function. My experience is you just put a Mountain Dew bottle up to your eye and look through it and get a similar experience.
Great shooting. One huge pig you shot at least 5 times and he kept running. These are tough animals.
