Yes, they graciously do this for our benefit, but also the largest Jewish contingent in the diaspora is in the US, and the Anglosphere is the largest global language bloc. Also, English is the most common second language in the world. Often even religious Jews in the diaspora are not that fluent in Hebrew.

Listening to this for the first time tonight and it's very interesting to draw the similarities between the Holocaust and the way God's people were treated by Pharaoh....same spirit in them both; spirit of anti-Mashiach. And I never knew until listening to this that Boaz was Rahab's son!! Amazing! One thing I've always held in my heart though from the Rahab story, is that it is permissible to lie and decieve in order to save God's people. We might have to do this again the way the world is going.....not always good to be so obedient that you compromise on standing up for what is right. So many compromised during WW2 and kept quiet, and didn't risk their lives through deceit and lies to save the Jews. May the Lord strengthen us to be Rahabs in the coming years....

Most denominations here in America teach the Old Testament is done away with, and hearing and keeping ("Shema") God's Law is done away with or "Bad." These people have hidden God's words in there heart, not just the bread (Jesus), but every word that comes forth out of the word of God (Torah, the Prophets, and Writings). Home groups and churches have sprung up teaching obedience to Torah and Jesus, Yeshua. Believers have divided over whether Jesus came PROCLAIMING God's Word, or changing and denying it. Are we to live in obedience to God's Word, or rebel against it? Are we to guard and protect GOD'S LIVING WORD, TORAH, JESUS? Or are we to let people take God's word and turn it into pagan worship, like the golden calf (Christmas and Easter) of disobedience? We are being rejected by families, friends, and churches in America, who all claim the front of the book is irrelevant. We all have seen what happens when Jews become believers in Christ, they become Messianic; but what happens when a Christian becomes aware that Jesus, Yeshua, is the LIVING Torah (instructions and Laws of God)? They turn back to keeping God's appointments, His Sabbaths and Feasts. And they desire God's WORD and Laws be written on their hearts (circumcision). The Old testament is done away with. Christ is the Lawgiver, but notice He didn't give law, nor did the Apostles. Christ is the One we shall follow and it doesn't include the old law, because He fulfilled it. He didn't renew it. He rewrote it, making it new. Keep reading Paul, he mentions his law fulfilling was corrected by the Holy Spirit and it involved not sinning, not following the old law.
All things will pass away, and be made new. Christ is the One who was risen, the Law didn't rise with Him. His Commands are not the law. They are Commands. He is the One who Gives
Those who do not become like Christ cannot see God. You cannot become like Christ by following the old law. It is for teaching (Torah - prophets writings) no one is listening to the prophets nor the Apostles.
Christ said Follow Him, not the Old law. You are falling away from Christ and leading people into talmudic judaism.

Again.. Christ said Luke 4:43 is why He came. Luke 4:34-42 proves that only Christ saves. And He didn't say to follow the law, He said to follow the New Testament. Which is where His Words are kept in His commands.

The only one who wants you to live in separation from God and IN sin is the enemy Satan who tricks you into thinking it's okay. Just like he did in the garden.... We really appreciate you guys (y'all). The Lord has brought forth One for Israel, "for such a time as this." All over the World, people are waking up to know the Lord. We are in the midst of a new revival, when people awake to know the G-d of the bible. They are learning something was missing. The two houses are being joined together (finally). No longer will one eat short bread cookies and the other eat salted eggs and vanilla milk, instead they will awake and know with baking powder, together they can eat cake. G-d is the binding agent, He is the baking powder. Combine that which each house has and you have cake. One house has butter sugar flour and they make wonderful shortbread cookies and think this is great we love these cookies. The second house has eggs, salt, vanilla, milk they eat wonderful salted eggs with delicious vanilla milk and they think this is great. Neither house knows if they combine the two house with G-d they can eat cake together. It is wedding cake. The marriage, the union, of the two houses, united at last in the name of the Lord.
Yes Rahab hid them in the reeds! Moses was in the reeds too! Also in Egypt the Jewish slaves lived in their ghetto but they were protected from all the plagues and finally saved with the blood on the doorposts. Scripture tells us that as their enemies try to destroy Israel God will destroy those who come against them! You have reminded me of the same situations throughout history! Halleluyah. Much is right, but in Egypt the Israelites were placed in a separate living area, a very good one, from the time of Joseph.
They were shepherds, and Egyptians thought shepherds unclean from the start, and separated them from the start.
This is scary. So if WW2 was a later version of exodus’s then that must mean someone (Yeshua) will rise up/comeback in this era and show us once and for all that we aren’t following the word correctly.

Question? Why do you think Rahab in Joshua is the same in Matthew 1:5? When I looked up the Greek version of these 2 scriptures the one in Matthew 1:5 has an x in the middle of the word (PaxaB) but the one in James and Joshua does not (PaaB). Could they be 2 different women since the spelling is different?

I find Gods promises in prophecy amazing as well. God fulfilled the 70 years(Jer 25:11-12, Jer 29:10, Dan 9:2, 2 Chron 36:21-23 Ezra 1:1) upon His people. During that time He gave them the prophecy of the 70 weeks(Dan 9:24-27) that began in 457 BC and ended three and a half yrs after Jesus ascended in the midst of the 70th week, when the gospel(to the Jew first) went forth also to the Gentiles. Dan 12:11-12 from the time that the daily sacrifice is taken away(2 Kings 24:12-16, Dan 1:2, 2 Chron 36:10-19) + 1290 = 691 AD when the dome of the rock was erected standing where it ought not, + 1335 yrs = 2026 AD. And Dan 8:9-14, the little horn waxed exceeding great toward the south in 275 BC at the battle of Beneventum with its first victory against the Greek hegemony defeating Pyrrhus of Epirus. + 2300 yrs = 2026 AD.
For me, the wonderful analogy between the Passover and the Gospels is the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ because the science behind it all...the science of righteousness...states that death, if performed righteously, is a passage to rebirth. Our indestructible, electric nature, can be harnessed in such a way that we can leave our old and damaged flesh and be electrically transported into new flesh. Jesus, who was without sin, did it in a way that was observable to those who believed in his righteous teaching but what was scientifically made visible by Jesus is also achievable, invisibly, by the same science. Rather than go in and out of that science which is hard to understand we can just follow Jesus Christ accurately and achieve the same goal knowing that Moses and Jesus were teaching us the same science from their different perspectives.
The new pharaoh was subject to the old prejudices.... Egyptians hated shepherds...would not even eat at the same table with them...and the Israelites were shepherds

I would like to also point out. Cains sacrifice represented the works of one own effort for salvation. Wood stubble in the new testament gets burned up. Abels a spotless Lamb wich represented faith Christ sacrifice for salvation. One faith in works to be saved. One faith in the object of Christ crucified for eternal life. One will send you to hell the other heaven.
Ephesians 1 6 to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He [a]made us accepted in the Beloved.
7 In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace
accepted in beloved through his blood as stated.
He accepts us because we accept his blood, his sacrifice.
John 6-53 Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you.
Numbers 21-9 And Moses made a serpent of brass, and put it upon a pole, and it came to pass, that if a serpent had bitten any man, when he beheld the serpent of brass, he lived.
The consequences for our sin is death and hell. When we look to Christ on the Cross his flesh his blood his anguish we live.
A common theme… points to One Author inspiring the human writers of these scriptures. God is the only Saviour! His Salvation extends to all who believe His message.
God was in Messiah, reconciling the world unto Himself, not holding our sins against us, but freeing us from their consequences, by overpowering death through His own righteousness.
Talk about God’s miraculous salvation of that part of Jericho’s wall containing Rahab’s house! That’s nothing compared to the salvation of inherently rebellious humanity who, through inherent senescence, were destined for death, decay and decomposition. Instead, we have the living hope of glory. Being endowed instead with the liberty of being sons and daughters of the Living God!

Rahab represents the gentiles coming in through faith for sure. What she did represents true worship in the spirit which the law of the torah could not bring while kept in the flesh .

The apostolic sign gifts (such as raising the dead, and speaking in tongues [which were other real languages, not incoherent babbling as you hear from the Pentecostal/Charismatic movement]) was for the early church, when the gospel was still focused toward Israel, but when Israel rejected their opportunity to receive their Messiah, the shift changed from Israel to the Gentiles primarily (Jesus being prophesied as a light to the Gentiles [Isaiah 49:6, KJV]). The only reason us dirty Gentile dogs got in was because Israel rejected their Messiah on their day of visitation, so He turned His arms toward us to receive Him. However, God has not forgotten His chosen people, not by a long shot -- but nationally Israel is set aside for now until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in (Romans 11:25, KJV). Individually of course, all can be saved (Jew or Gentile) if they come to Jesus Christ, and trust Him as their Lord and Saviour, and eventually (seems to be very soon), God will shift His focus from the Gentiles back primarily to His chosen people, Israel (this will happen once the body of Christ is called out [1 Thessalonians 4:13-17, KJV] and the tribulation, the "time of Jacob's trouble" [Jeremiah 30:7, KJV] begins).
Today we do not have the apostolic sign gifts, and we walk by faith not by sight (2 Corinthians 5:7, KJV). We have both now a completed New Testament and Old Testament which we go by, and God's word is our absolute authority.
Now the Lord still works miraculous things, and does everyday, such as healing a person's sicknesses, guiding the circumstances in our lives, and even having a dream and different things _can_ occur which can be incredible things. But we must be careful not to rely solely on those things, they are not the ultimate guidepost, as they can certainly come from the Lord, and increase our faith, but things (seemingly good things) can also come from the enemy as well to set us askew, and get us off our foundation (our foundation is God's words and the Lord Jesus Christ).
For example, the anti-Biblical literature, the book of Mormon was written by Joseph Smith who claimed that he saw an angel in a dream, after which he crafted the book of Mormon (which is not scripture). Mormonism is a cult used and created by the devil to snare and damn people (or corrupt doctrinally and cripple potentially saved Christians who happen to be inside the cult) with a works based system. If Joseph Smith did see an angel, as he claims, remember, the devil disguises himself as an angel of light (2 Corinthians 11:14, KJV).
Our final authority is what saith the Lord, that is, God's words, in English the King James Bible, and His inerrant words are what everything must be weighed against. And He will speak directly to you through His pure, holy, everlasting words (which are a more sure word of prophecy [2 Peter 1:19, KJV]) in your individual life's circumstances if you're saved and born again. Spend time in His words, in prayer, and in His will serving Him, and He will guide you.
Now I'm sorry to hear about your mom, but raising from the dead is not something a Christian should be praying for today (and get yourself in undue anguish on top of grief for losing her), as it is not in line with something that we should expect today. Can God do such a thing? Of course He can, God can do anything -- but such a thing is not for us, it's not aligned with how He's dealing with us today, where we live today by faith in His words. The raising of the dead in the early church was an apostolic sign gift in the early church, which was meant for the Jews (as the Jews require a sign): "For the Jews require a sign, and the Greeks seek after wisdom:" (1 Corinthians 1:22 [KJV]).
And also to evidence to them that the transition from the Old Testament Mosaic Law to the new (and better) covenant of grace through faith and salvation through Jesus Christ alone, was of God. Now if your mom was saved and born again, then she is in the presence and the joy of the Lord -- salvation comes through trusting Jesus Christ alone, coming to Him as a sinner and putting your faith and trust in Him and His finished work at the cross of Calvary to pay for your sins.
And also, again, God has not forgotten nor disannulled His covenant with Israel which was made with Abraham, and they are still His chosen people. They, just like anyone else, must come to Jesus Christ alone in this church age to be saved. And during the tribulation (which precedes the millennial reign of Jesus Christ), God will shift His focus back to Israel, His chosen people, primarily.
We are all brothers in the faith, and the gospel is revealed to us from the Lord, and given to all of us. I love learning new things and am learning new things from this podcast. The Lord be with you, keep it coming this is some good stuff.

I had 2 visions about a year apart walking out of my office with a lovely sister in Christ in the Springs of 2015 & 2016.
The 1st was a simultaneous vision with her seeing it too. It was like I could see the walls collapse and the dust rising up!
The second was the next year, when she and I crossed the same threshold, I saw the window and the scarlet cord tied to the central post of a two arched window. It must have been later in the day, because the color of the stones was darker red, rather than a more yellow color, so it seemed it was after the dust had settled.. and nothing remained aside from the section of the wall were her home was. A few months later I was getting ready for the day, washing my hair, and the Holy Spirit spoke and said, " It's going to be Rahab, Ruth and Ricca." I was shocked 😳 and remembered that both were in the Lineage of Yeshua.. but I really had to go look up His genealogy.. to my personal embarrassment, honestly.
It took several months before I remembered the 2 visions of the previous Springs. There's just so much more going on, beloved brothers and sisters. So much!

We must not fret when we see evil spoken of as 'good' and conversely so.. but we must cultivate the capacity for speaking the Truth of Redemption from sin by Grace not the currying of Public Approval Ratings or the acceptance of the world which still spits upon the innocent and the maligned because of mere appearances.
Our shallow roots and hunger for recognition and restitution has turned the sweet waters of a nation conceived by men who were sincere in their desires for individual freedom and liberty, but the twisting of tongues and worms in the wood of the political platforms on both the Blue and the Red sides have done as all Systems do in their decline into Egoism and Economic Excesses.
And yet.. it is the Grace of our Beloved Husband Redeemer that brings our National Accounting into His Ledgers, just as He calls each of us as individuals to be accountable for our own actions and understanding. I do not need to be a scholar to understand the difference between Rightstanding before my Creator, Christ & King.. and being a jerk.. but the way folks act according to the hungers of their flesh? No. There are too many folks willing to either stone the guilty without due process or us having done our due diligence as warriors of Christ for us to think that we are without sin.
And yet.. if any of us were capable of being Perfect apart from Grace.. we would be immortal gods, and not just silly, fleshy fishes that can find our way into His Boat by ourselves. Like Peter, we too frequently lose our Focus on the Goal which IS CHRIST.
Kindness is the 4th fruit of the Holy Spirit listed in Galatians 5:22. 4 is the Door, but it grows out of LOVE & Joy & the Peace that passes understanding, so that we may Enter In with Thanksgiving and the praises of our lips might be holy as if cleansed by the Coal from our High Priest, Christ Jesus, Who Stands Before the Mercy Seat of His Father, making intercession for us according to His Own Faithfulness.
These are the days that "wear out (exhaust) the saints", dear soul..
But the Joy of the Lord is our strength! His strength having been Made Perfect on account of our weakness.. so that none of our suffering or sorrows are waisted or in vain.
Heal your heart, my friend. He is Salvation from separation.. but the Vindication and Vengeance are His.
Let us pray for the strength and grace of our pain to burn away our dross so that we might be counted among the saints as ones who have "passed through the Fire" set all around us; whether by Inquisitors who only seek political and personal gain, by those who are ignorant of the consequences of their actions.. or even those who are malignancies within the human species. Only the Grace of Almighty G0D our Heavenly Father's Champion, Yeshua Ha'Moshiach, is sufficient for times such as these.

It's a very interesting thing this 'accusation' you are making as to " passive coveting", so please explain this. My love for Jesus is lifelong and legitimate, but the charges are taken seriously, by my spirit. I don't argue against the Holy Spirit.. but am willing to be instructed..

Exactly. I had this conversation lately with a Christian friend. I have rescued seven cats and keep them safe in my apartment. The rental agreement says I am not allowed to have more than two cats, but nobody wants cats, I can't give them away. I got them off the street and had them fixed so that they are not breeding. I have spent a lot of my meager income for the vet to heal some of the cats who were sick when I found them. My friend asked if I did not feel guilty about lying. I used the example of Rachel in the Old Testament, and of Oskar Schindler lying to the Nazis as examples of those who lied and were righteous. Rachel's lie brought her into the lineage of the Messiah. My friend said that my two examples were, in his words, "odd". I told him that there was nothing strange at all in Rachel's lie, or Oskar Schindler or Corrie Ten Boom lying to save lives and further the Kingdom of God.
I explained to him that the Ninth Commandment was not a commandment not to lie specifically, but it is a commandment not to perjure or bear false witness, not to slander your neighbor or bring a false accusation against your neighbor, not to engage in malicious gossip or spread a false rumor. In business dealings it means not to have a false balance, which the Lord hates. It also means "You shall not swear falsely, but shall perform to the Lord what you have sworn." (JMF)

Without this rein-or bit, if you will (James 3:3)-our tongues roll loose, go crooked. If godly discipline is a way of life (Prov. 6:23), the non-discipline of the idolatrous tongue is a way of death. James continues: The tongue is a small member, yet it boasts of great things. How great a forest is set ablaze by such a small fire! And the tongue is a fire, a world of unrighteousness. The tongue is set among our members, staining the whole body, setting on fire the entire course of life, and set on fire by hell. For every kind of beast and bird, of reptile and sea creature, can be tamed and has been tamed by mankind, but no human being can tame the tongue. It is a restless evil, full of deadly poison. We see that it is not only the action of falsehood that is condemned, but also the intent AND THE INTENDED RESULT of the falsehood that is condemned.
So, my scholarly friend, this is my answer and my rebuttal, and no, I do not intend to go on some wild goose chase spending half my day hunting down obscure references to some author that many have never heard of.
Present your case clearly and defend yourself without resorting to high sounding words, but as Paul said, to the Corinthians "And when I came to you, brothers and sisters, I did not come as someone superior in speaking ability or wisdom, as I proclaimed to you the testimony of God. For I determined to know nothing among you except Jesus Christ, and Him crucified. I also was with you in weakness and fear, and in great trembling, and my message and my preaching were not in persuasive words of [men's] wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power, so that your faith would not rest on the wisdom of men, but on the power of God." 1 Cor 2:1-5.

If you watch Tim Mahoney's documentary "Patterns of evidence: Exodus", about 1hr & 30min into the movie they start explaining their findings at Jericho and this detail about what could possibly had been Rahab's house is confirmed. Good morning, I see the walk that the Catholic Church takes at Easter on the painful road made in Israel in the 12 seasons, reading the texts of the New Testament and the Old Testament, and I realized that they speak in three languages, but that they simply DO NOT speak in Hebrew, and I was deeply saddened to see those Israelites passing by looking, but they had no way of understanding why no one spoke in Hebrew, I thought of leaving the idea for you to do the same, with texts explaining each season, but speaking in Hebrew, recording and publishing, or even broadcast live.
