    Got a question: even when you're done, it looks like the water still comes a bit cloudy, is that just the dye coming off, or residual dirt remaining?

      if i were to guess either they don't show everything, the centrifuge gets the rest out or it just gets to a point it isn't worth going any farther

      They said that the machine at the end gets the rest out. He described it in another video as "like the rinse cycle of your washing machine"

    I like how you go one direction then the other, and really flood the carpet to get all the dirt out of it. Do you add a softener/fragrance on the end rinse ever?

    Aww we had a beautiful shag rug that was actually so so soft. All our friends would lay down on it. But it was beige and after a couple years it just gets dirty. I wish I knew we could get it cleaned like this. We ended up tossing it, and I've never found a soft shag rug since.

      It’s a drier. I _think_ it’s centrifugal but don’t quote me on that.

      @@JulieWallis1963 It’s a vacuum chamber I believe. The door looks to be a seal and there’s another tube attached to it to evacuate the air. Plus a pressure gauge.

    How many do you do in a day. For house wall-to-wall carpet which is better, dry or wet method? What’s the best way to clean Berber carpet? I enjoy seeing how much dirt you get out yet it’s gross to think we might have that grossness in our carpets. Great job!

    first minute shows why I hate shag carpets, you spill something on them and they just soak it up, it's like trying to dry a stack of towels with a hand fan

    Definitely impressive work lads but I hope the owner keeps it clean after all that effort, me id just buy a new carpet if it were under $50. Depends how big your room is etc

    Hi there. I’m about to clean a shag pile rug that the cats did their potty business on. A few times it seems. 🙄 any suggestions as to how to clean it without a floor scrubber like you have? For some reason I am now hooked on watching you guys clean carpets. 🤷🏻‍♂️🤣🤣

    I LOVE YOUR WORK SPACE!! LOVE YOU TECHNIQUE but seriously could give a care to see the centrifuge. I know what it does but cant see the water that comes from it???? U can skip that process then in my opinion! Or at least the long show of the centrifuge. Doesnt matter to me if i can't see it come from the drain....

      @@thebest-sg8uz yes, we use dehumidifiers to dry the rugs with air movers, the dehumidifiers will get to about 32% RH by the morning and we use a moisture meter to poke to make sure they are fully dry before pulling them out. The only ones we will pull out in the afternoon instead of the morning are the true oriental wool rugs because they are super thick!

      I would assume they have plumbing attached to the building, which would mean that the water goes into the city's sewer system to be treated and reused. Most populated areas in the US work that way and have for decades now or we would have run out of water a long time before now. (I live in an extreme drought area as well)

    Hi can I make a suggestion? I really like your vids so far!! I think having a consistent/ uniform pattern in scrubbing or scraping would make it more satisfying to watch 😊
    Also I have a question. Is it better to soak the rug w water first and then the soap? Bc I think the soap would be better absorbed if it’s poured onto dry rug as opposed to one that’s already holding on to water. -I’m not an expert or anything. Just wondering -

    Its really dirty under your centrafuge machine where the water drains out, could you please get a clear plastic drain so we could see the color of the rinse water as it comes out, thank you.
