Used to hunt Woodcock in Ohio long ago... Great video!
I prefer grouse and woodcock hunting to all other hunting adventures. Hunting old orchards on abandoned farms is absolutely wonderful.
Never saw a Woodstock in my entire life (63 years). What kind of terrain / conditions do they like?
PanamaSticks they have migration routes in the central part of the country (Minnesota) to the northeast (Maine) and migrate as far north as Canada and as far south as Louisiana. Their normal habitat in north consists of early succession growth (1-3 years) with soft soils to hunt for their primary food source, earth worms. The link below has a lot more detail. www.projectupland.com/upland-species-profiles/american-woodcock-2/
Y'all need to do a sage grouse video. There's something special about hunting a prehistoric bird in the vast sage plains of Wyoming.
We actually have a shoot scheduled this September in Montana for them. We are really excited to put it together!
Very nice!
оч хорошо!!
Worcester Massachusetts?
The film was shot in the Berkshires Massachusetts. The reference to Worcester, Massachusetts was a story from Ernie Fosters childhood.
