- WHEN THE BOUGH BREAKS MOVIE REVIEW - Morris Chestnut, Regina Hall, and the debuting Jaz Sinclair bring this romantic thriller to the Double Toasted podcast as they review the film that may be bad in some eyes of the norm, but can you still have fun with it? Much like films such as No Good Deed, and The Perfect Guy, this film is about crazy people with a crazy fatal attraction on someone they shouldn't, except they are (in the words of Korey Coleman), "dipped in chocolate." Is this worth your time? Find out in this funny video!
And for more funny videos, viral news stories, movie reviews, trailer reactions of official trailers from both 2016 and 2017 and even video game playthroughs, head on over to Doubletoasted.com!

I laughed for 27 straight minutes. Fucking great review guys!
Whoa, Mr. Stuckmann watches other reviewers?
What's up, Chris.
These guys are some of my favorite reviewers. Right up there with you and Jeremy Jahns!
+Chris Stuckmann, very cool that you catch other reviews...I hope one day you and Double Toasted can collab on a few reviews. Id like to see the contrasting views in action. Same with the Schmoes
Stuckmann on DT confirmed?¿
"The Hand that Rocks the Cradle" dipped in chocolate. That should be the tag line. Perfection.
😂
I was reading this comment when he said that. 😂
david travis I read it Korey’s voice 😂😂😂😂😂
Well, you know the old saying...
"When the bough breaks, the cradle will rock."
I wonder if they'll make a baby version of it like how they did with Hanna Barbera cartoon?
*read in narrator voice*
From the producers that brought you "The Hand that Rocks the Cradle", "When the Bough Breaks", "The Flinstones in Viva Rock Vegas", and "Baby Geniuses"
Coming soon....
"Rock-a-Bye Baby".
The problem with these guys being so funny is that it always makes me want to go see these terrible movies...
So true.
"Hey baby, how was your trip?"
"Fine! What tha fuck you did?"
Lmao!!!
“NEGRO YOU GUILTY!!...you didn’t have to fix that drain that night!” So true 🤣🤣🤣🤣
The black romantic thriller category is slowly becoming my favorite for just hilariously bad movies.
"well, she's just...pregnant." LOL
I almost fell out of my chair laughing when they were talking about when Morris Chestnut was watching her in the shower.
9:00 HEEEEEEEEEEEEE
I'm in tears laughing hahaha
This movie was great, haven't laughed so hard at a movie in awhile lol. Feel bad for Morris Chestnut and Regina Hall, they deserve better than this
One of the funniest double toasted reviews in a while.Korey imitating Morris Chestnut is so dang funny haha
This movie is a BET exclusive lol
Lmao
Killer Croc would enjoy it. ;)
Michael McNair that's what it should've been
MrDman21 haha right?!
Lawrence Taylor it should've!
Dipped in chocolate jeez, y'all are too good at making me laugh at inappropriate jokes
Cory face when fell off the ladder had me CRYIN!! LMAO!!!
The drain joke made me guffaw like a donkey. Well done, guys. XD
I love it when it's just Korey and Martin
True
On the actual show, some lady was there and she was hilarious! I was sad when she left. The whole episode was good, though.
Yeah!
And it should stay that way. It's always better without Danielle being such a third wheel.
Now we just need Carlyle, Cyrus and Co-Host.
Martin's faces in this are the best I've ever seen from him.
Korey and bad black movies make funny reviews.
9:03 HEEEEEEEE 😂😂
Wait, seriously? This movie was about a surrogate mother? I've seen one trailer for this, and it implies NOTHING about anyone getting pregnant or having a baby for someone else. All I saw was a married couple, a younger girl, jealous, and moving in on the man. I know someone might say "Well the title gives you an idea", I didn't get that at all. I thought it was more like, implying the violence that'll occur or the betrayal, or something. They gotta work on those trailers.
Yeah, I first heard of this film when I went to see Don't Breathe. The trailer had no dialogue or plot details, just shots cut together with music as if it were a shitty film class editing project.
Anzu Wyliei Well as I said, I saw one, the same one actually now that I think about it, twice, and all it showed was shots cut together, no dialogue, only music. Didn't see a baby room, no crib, not even a doctor's office, etc. The only reason I said "They gotta work on those trailers" is because lately, Hollywood or whoever they get to make these trailers these days are fucking up majorly, whether it be spoiling scenes or twists, cutting a movie to make it look more or less entertaining than it really is, etc.
Martin killed me with that look around the 17 min mark. I've already seen Jeremy Jahns, Chris Stuckmann and Brad Jones (cinema snob/midnight screenings) reviews and this shit sounds hilariously bad.
I don't know how much money i saved by watching these warning reviews.
Yeah I wish they did the disappointments room before I saw it cause it sucked
Yeah I'm hearing that's bombing hard right now.
Hands down, my favorite Double Toasted review.
It literally got a 0% on Rotten Tomatoes. I have never seen that before lol
I guess you haven't seen the rating for the ridiculous 6?
"Bucky Larson: Born to be a Star" has a 0% on Rotten Tomatoes as well.
A 0% on Rotten Tomatoes is less impressive when there are fewer reviews to average. It's the second-highest grossing movie of the week, and it only has ten reviews. All negative.
+Rae Angel Princess got zero percent
@@johnnythm777 lmao
I agree with this rating, "Some Good Ol Bullshit" lol
This movie was absolute garbage and I love it. Haven't laughed so hard in a theater for a LONG time 😂
I've always thought that Morris Chestnut can actually grow hair and the only reason he went bald is so people didn't call him RICKY!
whats that from?
til_thasmokeclearz boys in the hood
Ah yea serrio! My dumbass lol
you guys have AMAZING chemistry!
Korey is the only person that didn't recognize "the angry mexican Adam Sandler" as Juice from Sons of Anarchy lol Great review though, love these guys.
Loved that show. Kinda sad that Jax died in the end tho.
A true classic of the DT move reviews library.
I died laughing when u guys talked about how morris chestnut went and got a ladder to fix a drain outside at night in the rain. 😂😂😂
same movie, except dipped in chocolate. hahahahahaha
The only black thriller that got it right was A Thin Line Between Love and Hate.
Hey Temptation is a modern classic
TYLER PERRY'S TEMPTATION?! NO!
U lost your mind calling Temptation is a modern classic. That's like calling Twilight the modern "Citizen Kane"
+kaneiah williams Classic. Int that it's so fuckin terrible it's hilarious! It's one of my favorite comedy movies
A Thin Line Between Love and Hate is top of the list! Definitely the ending when Lynn Whinfield tried to kill Martin Lawerance and Regina King. Disturbing!!!
Man I love these types of movies they're honestly my guilty pleasure
::: That Time Cthagod told Regina in her face that "he feels like he watched this already"
*Sees notifications for review. Finds out its "When the Bough Breaks". Pops popcorn puts butter in it. And puts it in a bowl. Closes door and up the volume up. And then I say*
Me: This gonna be good!
"When the Bough Breaks" coming next year "The Cradle will Fall"!
🤣🤣🤣 best comment of the year
Let me go fix this drain by the girl's window real quick at 12 o clock at night while it's raining. Can't wait for this goofy ass movie to come on TV to get a laugh.
This movie got an 0% on rotten tomatoes lol
A zero damn and I thought batman v superman had it bad but u know it's bad when your movie rating is a zero
Not even Fant4stic's rating's THAT bad...
I know it's a bad movie but some shitty movies are just enjoyable with the right crowd.
The Ridiculous 6 had a 0 as well.
Carlton tbh that movie was really good. Just saying
This movie looks like it just should've been on TV. Why put this in a theater?
Martin's laugh is amazing 14:55
I love when you guys review Black Folk shenanigans, even back during the Spill Days. Guaranteed hilarious shit, I just wish the other 2 guys from Spill were here too.
Still to this day, one of the best reviews ever, the ladder pantomime korey does just cracks me up 👐👐👐
Well, at least When the Bough Breaks was better than The Disappointments Room starring Kate Beckinsale which, like the title suggests, was a disappointment.
That's not saying much.
true
Taylor Nickels True, but it's still something to say.
Barbaque Hasker Yeah
what was that about..it just sounds avoidable
I guess you can say that Ana wanted Morris's Chestnuts :P
CaptainTalon448 You’ve won the internet achievement award 😂
That's a Martin worthy pun!
Great actors, bad script 🙄 Hollywood needs better black writers smh
Y'all just made me more interested in seeing this movie even more.
I don't need to drink anything during these lol. At 12:00 I almost spit out my coffee. Great review guys!!
So, is this the best unintentional comedy of the year?
Was thinking it looks just like No Good Deed when I saw that in the description lol I turned that movie off a quarterway through. Who knows how they got Idris Elba to do that fuckin movie.
This movie had the worst ending smh... but it was hilarious!
How did it end?
Got run over by a car
+Junaius Stewart By a Priuis
"Don't worry babe, I'll handle it."
No the baby didnt die
My testes exploded when I saw this in my subs
Actually in _Fatal Attraction_, she killed a bunny.
Screen Gems and their conveyor belt movies, smh.
I actually liked obsessed, mainly because it was hilarious seeing Beyoncé kick someone's ass in heels lol
And that's something you don't see everyday
Even though I'm in love with Danielle and I love her on the show it it refreshing to see Martin and Korey in a review
Been waiting for this review lol
Same.
I was gonna say the same thing
Me too, I saw this movie last Friday..and it was shit.
Indeed!
+DarkSlimPunk I went to sleep.
Rated BET lol
Lol
😂😂😂😂😂😂
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
BAE Bunnij yes😂
I love when Corey review bad movies I be havin a ball laughing my ass off
Oh god this review had me in stitches
13:50
Possibly the realest “hell, naw” I ever heard
Is it wrong that I want a sequel, specially now that Billy has joined the crew on a somewhat regular basis?
I'd watch that, especially since they gave a rewatch to Acrimony
2016 has found its best comedy film of the year.
Good for Kory Goodwin and Martin for standing up to Korey. I can't stand when people who are wrong use volume to prove their point.
I really wish they'd stop shitty movies being released in September featuring great black actors
these are Lifetime flicks period
11:16 is the most underrated DT moment
Don't worry Korey...."Everything's gonna be ok... " *poses
Lmaoooo. Thee acting an cinematography was good.. Thee writers handed in their second draft of the script and said Fuck it.. 😭
how many movies are they going to make of the same story? us black folks complain about our movie not being nominated but we keep making the same movies over and over again
White people make way more mediocre shot with the same troupes. What's your point
Not exactly a one to one Johnson.
Till this day this is still the funniest review😂
This was the best comedy I saw all year!
at 22:26 and you guys didn't do a review for the perfect guy and i wanted to see your guys review for that movie man and its never too late to review the perfect guy 2015 bros
Anna did it for me in this movie. Ain’t no way a wife gonna have her in the house.
what was the song playing when she was dancing at 14:26?
Black thrillers are my new favorite genre. Mainly because of movies like this and The Perfect Guy. (Both have Morris Chestnut).
Todd: Hey! When the bough breaks is coming out! What would you rather see? Sully or this?
Me: When The Bough Breaks, Hell Yeah!
Is it your favourite because it's a "so bad it's funny" genre? Or because you genuinely like the movies?
+SimonBRUH8217... again
Look up the ratings of all those movies.
The score explains it
Yeah I know the ratings but you didn't flat out say why you enjoy the movies.
Just wanted to ask, cheers.
+SimonBRUH8217... again
So bad it's funny
I haven't seen any of these black, Lifetime, over acted pieces of shit, but I'm just waiting for this movie to go in Netflix, so I can bring my friends over and laugh at how hysterically awful it is.
this movie needs a bad movie roast
i thought i was the only one who thought that dude looked like adam sandler😂
The Hispanic guy is a supporting character on Luke Cage. Shades, that was his name.
And he's Juice from Sons of Anarchy
Play Misty for Me predated even Fatal Attraction.
11:17 is where I lost it even more hehe
That's were I lost it too, so funny 😂
LMFAO funniest review ever,!!!
Oh God! This was hillarious!
This movie cost ten million?! Man, I've seen movies with one million dollar budgets that are better than this.
None of these recent fatal attraction movies will ever top "obsessed".
I wish Martin had to see this and Tony (Co-host) made a surprise appearance to review this movie.
A surrogate mother.. Oh yeah, that's the Hand that rocks the cradle.. Big time, not Fatal Attraction. The one that wrote this has next to no ideas.
For those who haven't seen that movie, go watch it, then you'll see a major similarity between the 2.
I really did enjoy this movie and I love the cast in this movie Jaz Sinclair in this movie I think she so beautiful and gorgeous and I though she did a great job in this movie same goes for Regina Hall I think she is beautiful and gorgeous too and she did a great job as well and I’m gonna give when the bough breaks 2016 a 10/10 stars I really did love this movie but that just me though
My man👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 What I loved about this film is the dialogue & the delivery of the script.
@@vodoumyers hell yeah bro and i'm glad that you enjoy this movie too bro i though that i was the only one who enjoy this movie and same here too bro i am with you on that brother and i like the cast in this movie and i'm glad that it was almost 2 hours since i wanted to see more of this movie and i did and that why i gave it a 10 out of 10 stars and sorry for the late comment too i didn't know you comment on my post and i didn't get a Notifications on my phone to let know about that and i hate when UA-cam doesn't let people know who messages them back and we can never tell who messages in our post comment
When my bowels break...Its after a late nite at White Castle
Detailed do over please 🙏🏾 😂
She wants Morris’s Chestnut🤣🤣🤣🤣
These men are hilarious. Omg.

Funny asf 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I DIDN'T WANT NO KID'S THE VITAMIN IS A DAY AFTER PILL. LOL
Saw this a couple weeks ago and straight up walked out after a while.
when i visit Austin, how do we get to be studio audience?
Email him. You can find his email on the double toasted website.
U have to contact Danielle on the double toasted website mate
Damn this movie was soooooooo BORING!!!!!!!!!😴 Only good thing about this is the two beautiful women in it, Regina Hall and Jaz Sinclair. And even they couldn't save the movie.
So basically a oprah and Tyler productions lol
korey and Martin commentary makes the movie even better lol
Film school rocks!
