No where in this video others I have seen does that seem to take place. Just trying to plan for my phones for the future, etc. Thanks.

The side brackets & wireless charging pad fit right in along with all others. Which can show that apple only did minimalistic change on every new models. Especially the camera modules and SoC. The rest is still the same lol

You do not need to use a heat gun to take the screens off the phone lol if you are experienced enough you can do it with out also using a heat gun you can burn the display if you don’t know what you’re doing or heat up the battery. I have no idea who told you you HAVE to use a heat gun to get a screen off haha I can fix a screen in 10 minutes

This modified version doesn’t have the mic, and this causes lots of issues when recording audio. For instance: rear camera uses always both front and rear mic to record audio, and it causes sometimes the audio stops suddenly. If you record with the front camera it works because it uses front mic. If you use apps like WhatsApp to record videos with rear camera, it doesn’t work at all, no sound. So I don’t recommend this mod.

I just spent 5 hours doing this for my XS max. One problem I ran into was the frame didn’t have a proper place to put the rear-facing microphone. I ended up sandwiching it under the cameras and the frame. I haven’t noticed an issue yet with the microphones, but was wondering how you worked with it?

Don’t do that.The modified cable has no microphone and it cause issues when recording video with the rear camera.
