Great seeing someone jamming out to this song. It’s my favorite Creed song, and love me some Mark Tremonti alternate tuned songs (well, I guess it’s really an open tuning). So you already answered the tuning question, but was curious if you were able to do everything with a single string gauge. I would have to imagine tuning the B up (it’s up, not down, right?) three steps puts some serious strain on a regular B string. Was curious to hear how you made it work? Cheers, and great cover.
Thank you for watching! The B string does get tuned up to D. When I first tried this tuning many years ago, it was a little nerve wracking because I was worried the string would break, but haven’t encountered an issue with it. Strings used are a standard set of 10 gauge strings.
