I've been putting off rotating the door for 2 years but have a carpenter coming today to install cupboards and had to do it now. This video was so informative and job done in no time at all. Thankyou
Thank you so much, this was very clear and easy to do with your instructions! Now I’m wondering why I wasted a year asking my husband to do it for me when he had some time 😂
Thank you! Successfully completed the task of changing the opening position on 8000 series aeg dryer. An idea for a new video, or maybe you do have it. How to clean condenser on heat pump dryers. Even if you clean the filter after every cycle I still have a clogged condenser.
I had a problem with my dryer where the lock pin broke. So I bought a new one online (the official one from AEG) and installed it. However, after I'd replaced it and you'd close the door the machine would say the door wasn't closed (it clearly was, the mechanics of the lock clicked and it was very much closed) and wouldn't start it's program. I've tried taking it out, cleaning it, dusting it, putting it back on etc multiple times but it kept giving me this issue. Somehow reversing the door seems to have fixed this problem entirely in one go, but I can't for the life of me understand why. This video was extremely helpful for me throughout the whole thing, so many thanks there! But I'm still curious - Given the mechanics of the closing mechanism (it's either closed or open, no electronics) I'd assume it's the pin on the top that helps the machine determine whether or not it's closed. Has anybody ever had any issues with this and if so how did you deal with them?

Thanks, I'm glad I assisted. What you describe is strange. I will take a look at it and if I have a clue I'll share it with you.
