I think DVR for tutorial vids is better than HD cam. Very few fly using HD cam, so seeing what stuff looks like through DVR is I think more useful.

You’re the guy I wanna learn how to fly like. Way too many dudes focus on how many flips and rolls they can do in 5 seconds and tbh it really spoils the ‘viewing experience’. Like.. “I get it bro, you can fly”.
Anyways man, this video helps a lot. I’m trying to learn how to film smooth footage with a 5” for the channel. Everyone says it can’t be done. I consider you a mentor and I’m determined to prove them wrong.

      Your actually 💯% Correct.
The GoPro (Stabilizes) the footage to an extent so you don't get the actual RAW Flight footage without playing back the Plain Jane DVR Recordings.
it works extremely well for tutorials as long as the image quality stays up to a reasonable par.

Very informative dude. You talk to folks like normal...”things you’ve struggled with” and then you follow up with clear concise stick direction and timing related with vectors and pids. Some pilots say stuff like “you just have to feel it and practice a lot”...and kinda mumble over what they actually do. Great presentation man.

I think that this is the 3rd time that I've seen this video, Drew. It's one of the best and it always reminds me that when I bring my mind to my flying, both are well served. Love your style, it's exactly how I want my flying to feel to me. I think that experience must be a big factor as well. Thanks, Drew. Great piece of work. Would love to see another one of these.

Really good video, man! As a noob pilot trying to learn to fly smooth and learn tricks, it's extremely helpful to have the raw DVR video. You're a great teacher, and it shows in your vids. The DVR and stick cam are most helpful. Please keep up the great work!

Definitely 3 excellent tips to put a pilot on the road to better freestyle footage! Sometimes they do take more of a conscious effort to overcome, especially when that concrete pillar is getting closer and closer. The urge to correct and re-correct is hard to ignore while learning the flight characteristics and capabilities of your quad.

Another nice video. Session low battery and no battery conditions are commonplace for me too. My wife and I use a Romoss 10mah spare battery to charge the Session with; it has both 1A and 2A ports so you can charge the Session really fast in the field. 5min charge for enough juice to get a good flight in the middle of the mountains. You remind me I need another.
