How to Swirl Your Paint / Abstract Acrylic Painting / Pouring Fluid Art

If you’re looking for an awesome abstract acrylic pour Painting technique look no further! This is a great way to get a psychedelic fluid art piece! This technique is just a twist literally, and can be added to any technique, just a variation in the tilt. The faster swirling motion builds up cand drags the paint with it. See what you can come up with by swirling! It’s so much fun! I love the way the lines from the comb add to the fluid nature in the composition. All my mixtures are the same at roughly 1/4 paint to floetrol ratio. I use liquitex acrylic and floetrol as my pouring medium. Most all my colors are custom mixed.

Beautiful! Question...how do you clean off the black plastic when you are finished working for the day, and what do you do with the paint on said plastic? Do you save the skins that are formed to use for something else, or just get rid of that spillage?

I am glad you did two paintings. I see the difference between how each was pored and swirled to come up with a different result. I will also try different stripe colors. Painting #1 has the line effect I am shooting for. Thanks Any help on how to get the paints to flow so well. Mix of paint to Floetrol and maybe a bit of water?
