Billy, I’ll be on Valiant Lady in the UK this weekend with my own party animals, Lucy & co for our hen party. I won’t bother booking any restaurant or much of my app but my female dogs must make themselves useful by smelling their way to the galley so I won’t be starved on a big fat ship like that. You definitely don't need a jacket or tie. If you want to, great, but generally folks are casually dressed (and often a bit more neatly than some lines). Overall it's very "come as you are" where everyone is made to feel welcome.
Below is what Virgin has to say about dress code:
We always want all of our Sailors to feel comfortable. We encourage you to wear more than a bathing suit if you go to a restaurant and kindly consider shoes, but your style is your style. Who are we to judge?
Dress Up. Dress Down. Just Dress.
At Virgin Voyages we’re all about Sailors feeling free to express who they are and we know personal style is a huge part of that. Prescribing formal attire requirements just isn’t our style.
We put a lot of trust in our Sailors to have some basic respect for each other, and to not show up to a full service restaurant in only pasties and earrings, a dripping wet bathing suit, a pair of sandy flip-flops or a fully mesh jumpsuit.
We know, you know, that wearing shirts, pants and footwear is just the gracious way to dress in places where food is served. It also can’t hurt to glam up, which is encouraged, in all eateries, especially our gorgeous full service restaurants like the Test Kitchen or The Wake.
Your casual threads are probably nice enough to pass for dinner in any eatery, so come as you are, just not as you “were” when you got out of the shower please. Basically, please wear clothes in our eateries. Cheers!

I am going on a cruise next month on the SL and I have bid on several suites. Do you have any idea what average winning bids are on the rooms?

There's no real trick, or even average, because in most cases suites sell out far in advance. More often than not, suites only become available to bidders if someone cancels at the last minute. Always check to see long in advance what the cost of an upgrade would be outright, and then bid what you'd be happy to pay if you won - but don't get your hopes up.
Do ensure you bid on any/all suite categories that you'd be happy with, as you just don't know what might become available.
The bids that come through more frequently are verandah/sea terrace rooms, since there are many more of them available.
So there's no unlimited beverage package? Just blocks of $300 at retail plus whatever extra they give you? And do those blocks include things like lattes and freshly squeezed juice, or do you pay for those separately?
You can always paid as you go - no preloaded bar tab.
If you want to pre-pay (use it or lose it), then for every $300 you pay you get $50+ (the + being promotion dependent). That prepaid Bar Tab can be used for any beverages. Specialty coffees, specialty teas (def check out JoJo Tea Co teas onboard), cocktails, beer, wine, pressed-juices, etc.
If you're thinking about booking, there is a promo that ends this month that, in most cases, will get you an extra $300 for drinks or anything else onboard, or $600 on longer sailings. Free money. You have a few options - and acting quickly may help. Instead of two in one room and three in another, the current promotion that offers incredible rates for solo travelers could make things a lot more comfy. Consider two accommodations with two people and then another with one. The current promo means that the price difference between packing three people in one room (with just one bathroom) vs two in one room with one in another, is very minimal. This promo applies to a wide range of cabins, so you could , with some minimal restriction, pick whatever combination matches your priorities and budget, without crowding each other in or spending more than you'd like.
A good travel agent can help make this really easy, and lay out all of the different options with prices and additional considerations. The solo promo ends Oct 3 though, so get it taken care of soon! The same agents that book our travel can help with yours, if you'd like: CruiseHabit.com/help
Is mega rockstar worth it ? I’m
Between rockstar or mega and very confused on either one’s benefits
Rockstars get an agent (like an assistant), in room bar setup (one round of bottles), access to Richards Rooftop lounge, and early reservation access. Mega Rockstars, beyond the different room type, Mega get all that plus complimentary transfers to/from the terminal, all drinks ($25 and under) are covered all around the ship, unlimited in room bar, laundry, and other perks.

What time do they usually set the Grog Walk?

How about reservations for shows?
Some shows allow for reservations, but not until you board the ship. This is far more important for Ship Show (which is in The Manor, a smaller venue) than those shows in the Red Room. For shows in the Red Room, if you know when you want to go, or have a large group, grab those reservations on embarkation day - but don't stress. We almost never make these reservations and instead just show up 15 mins early to enter via the standby line.
As a side note, if you want to do small group fitness classes, such as the bungee classes, or those you should reserve upon embarkation. Same goes for the Grog Walk.
How do you sign up for the Grog Walk?
You can sign up in the app as soon as you connect to WiFi in the terminal (AHOYMIAMI) or onboard the ship.

@@owon4759 Yes, it's about $35-$40 ... you get a specialty drink at each bar and some stops have light snacks. I did the Grog Walk on my cruise in May 2022 ... it was so much fun ... you play drinking games to make you talk to people on the Walk and patrons in the bars.

Can you pay your account on virgin voyages with a debit card or cash as I don't use credit cards???
You can use a debit card, but I'd strongly recommend against using debit cards in general. I do understand that some prefer not to use credit. I'd actually need to check with them on the cash option - but most lines do this. Your travel agent can verify, but next time I speak to someone I'll see if I can find out as well.
