- This Azura SOLAR Powered Yacht Can Stay On The Watter All Day
Azura Aquanima 40 is today’s innovative superyacht that can sail all day and all night only sing the power of the sun. It can also sail under the harshest circumstances of weather, according to the circumnavigation sailing that has been done on it in August 2020.

Internal pictures doesn’t match…
Clickbait!
Technical data’s are wrong / misleading!
In the beginning it’s a Aluminum hull, later described as carbon fiber hull……
NOT 60kW PERhour. It is 60kW Hours or 60kWh (meaning it can supply 60kW in an hour, 6kW in 10 Hours, 3kW in 20 hours, etc.)
Interesting video choices. I'm guessing the interior pictures in the video are from something like a Sunreef 80' power catamaran?
Some of them appear to be the inside of a sailboat.
@@hasbenhome - The are. From a boat that is much, much larger and much nicer.
The bow and stern seem to bob up and down quite a bit in what looks like 10-15 knots of wind. I wonder how comfortable this would be on the open sea?
It seems to run low in the water at the bow, and also bobs up and down a lot, even in quite calm water.
Love the concept, I'm interested in an island hopper boat for the carribean.
So hard to find info on how to get one of these. It ticks all the boxes of function over form and is more appealing to a simple guy like myself than the overly gaudy Silent Yachts catamarans, but it doesn't seem there's any way to actually buy one and no way to verify the manufacturers as reliable, let alone how easy or hard it would be to fix something when it inevitably breaks
Also, why pull away from the mic when you inhale. It's distracting and makes you sound sick
Their website is down and I can't find any info about them. The CEO seems to have quit to another company from his linkedin profile.
Okay where do I buy this bad boy???
Sustainable #yachtlife powered by solar is the ultimate concept to reinvent luxurious #boatlife
One hail storm could be a bad day.
This vessel looks over-loaded by weight and is riding too low at the bow. I don't see enough bridge deck clearance.
I noticed the same things
$500,000? I think that may be wrong.. OIC it is really 500k British Pounds. Which is about 20% less than the dollar. This boat is a huge bargain even though it does lack sex appeal.
These are exactly the kinds of vessels we need into the future.
My retirement home on a large lake.
. 🔥
By Azura, by Azura, by Azura!!😀
Is it a competitor of the Cat 12 from Sun Concept and if yes can you tell us about the differences ?
Yes, it is. Azura is cheaper but with some better specs. Azura used for the hull Aluminum and Cat used Fiberglass. Azura is a little bit cheaper compared with Cat. But Cat 12 (2 x 40 kW) is more powerful than Azura (2 x 10kW). So it depends where you want to compromise.
Check out the Elight 40 from Novaluxe
HopYacht is about 10 feet shorter but only $209k. Also has a sail. Smaller solar output though.
Im in Vietnam and i want to make the boat like this
Perfect hot weather boat, hook a kite on the front for running down wind
This is exactly what I drew for my river house boat, well the structure at least the interior is not my cup-of-tea
Yes, looks very nose heavy
Azura vs Silent 55 ??
No sugar scoop? 30+ years after 1990? Crazy
5:56 runs video at a faster speed to make it look faster :P
looks like it has a terrible nose dipping problem. needs more flotation up front.
2-3 kw is about 4 horsepower... Can you imagine trying to move a 40 foot boat like that with a ton of windage with duel 2 hp honda outboards 🤣😂Someone got the math wrong on that lol
There are twin 10Kw motors that can produce the equivalent of 30HP. Obviously this can only be sustained for a short period but can certainly get you out of a pinch. Plus, I would install a 20Kw generator for such back up demands to extend safety net.
Please be careful with the terms kilowatt and kilowatt.hours 😣
much much too low over the water, seems hulls are underated, under dimentionned. shame. lake or inland waters only!
1/2 million don't get you much ...
I think this company has gone bust!
A bargain for sure. Not sure about handling big seas.
