In that case u can see he’s after soldier at the very first place even before blading and I’m pretty sure he realised the soldier is pocketed by mercy after he ulted. As u can see there’s no one else around the soldier when he’s ulting except for the mercy which she’s in Valkyrie mode(her ult fyi). It’ll be ideal for him to target soldier at that very moment
And also he’s an old overwatch player that plays a lot of ow1 back then. I think the reason why he’s giving that reaction is bcuz genji will be able to blade healing soldier by mercy with 3 blades from genji back then

Rocket League lags are the most infuriating. I have no idea why, but it is so.
This is why you don’t keep playing games while you’re angry, or at least highly competitive ones. If it makes you angry just hop offline and come back later. Not worth broken gaming equipment.
You know I find watching these videos funny because I remember a time I used to have really bad rage on video games like cod, gta, etc. I then decided to stop myself from playing them because I got tired of breaking stuff.
I now play these games after years of staying away from them and I stay calm a lot better and I have been a lot better than before since I don’t rage as much and I just take loss as a chance to learn
